Coast Episcopal School is a wonderful, loving, safe environment that fosters a love of learning through fun and exploration. My 3 children (who span 7 years and are all very different) have flourished at CES. They are challenged to excel in all topics. The Maker's Space allows them to imagine and create. They love playing the myriad of instruments in music. The art topics allow them to explore many art forms and integrates with their units of study in the classroom. The joyful feeling of daily chapel and the various programs in place to help children develop leadership skills help make CES second to none.

Such a beautiful, creative, loving school where your children will be celebrated and treated as family. The curriculum teaches to the “whole child” and is top notch—there is no better education on the Mississippi Gulf Coast!

As a former elementary education teacher with a master's degree in curriculum and instruction, I can honestly say that Coast Episcopal School provides the best and most academically challenging education from Pre-school through Sixth grade in the state of Mississippi. While students are cherished and nurtured as individuals, the teachers and curriculum facilitate the lifelong love of learning vital for success in the real world. Students leave Coast Episcopal School self confident in who they are and academically prepared to continue in the pursuit of excellence in every aspect of their lives.

Excellent school. Simply, best preschool on the coast. We could not go anywhere else after our first tour. Their toddler program is fun! My son demanded to go there every day instead of one day a week I signed him up originally. Elementary school's child to teacher ratio is quite low which allows teachers to adjust curriculum and their approach to every child's needs. Even though the school is known for their strong arts and music program, kids test above their grade in reading and sciences as well.CES graduates perform exceptionally well in public and private high schools. Many of them receive college scholarships. We have been to two different schools before. Thankfully we found Coast Episcopal. Would highly recommend visiting this school.

The extensive curriculum and availability of foreign language, art, science lab is what initially attracted us to Coast Episcopal School. However, the family-like atmosphere and the individual attention my children received has been what has kept us here.

I went to school at Coast from third grade to my senior year, and I would recommend CES to anyone on the coast. I had a unique education that fostered independent and critical thinking, which more than prepared me for college. The teachers truly cared about our success and the school itself was an incredible community strengthened by faculty, parents and students alike.

I love CES because they genuinely love and nurture the children, and take great pains to teach them great academics, character, and what it means to be a responsible, confident individual.

What impressed me most the first time I visited the school was the teacher involvement in the classrooms. These teachers don't stand in front of a class and teach to the children; they stay in the middle of the class and explore the topics of education with the children. When I compared the differences between this school and the others we visited, I was amazed at how much more involved the kids at CES were because of the involvement of the teachers. Another striking factor that I've come to appreciate more and more over the past two years is the close knit community of the school. The teachers know every child in the school, and they know every family, too. It isn't a chore for the kids to be there because they go in every morning feeling like they are truly a part of something special, and they are right.
