I give this school a 2 star because the kids really do seem to learn an impressive depth and breadth of subject matters and it seemed like a very safe environment.. in terms of the facilities . The problem with this school is that they lack compassion. The teachers need to learn empathy especially towards kids with special needs. Kids, like people come with various personalities and not every package is wrapped in a neat and tidy bow. The ability to engage and motivate challenging kids without losing your cool is what distinguishes an exceptional teacher from an ok teacher. On many occasions I walked in to pick up my kids and there was so much screaming at the kids my bones shivered. I got another chill when I discovered it was my child. To this day my child says that was the worse school he has been to. The first day I picked up my kid, someone at the front door yelled at me in the parking lot to move my car so they can close the gate. My kid was terrified and so was I. I saw this behavior in three different teachers!!! I still have so much guilt of letting my child stay there so long. I don't think they are terrible people there, I just think they need to add a lot of LOVE to the curriculum.

The staff showed no emotion or compassion towards my child with special needs (speech delay and sensory needs) in fact I dont believe they have any formal training in education period and when you pay that sort of tuition that should be a requirement. I wasnt expecting special treatment for him he was only going the bare minimum just so he can get out of the house. My problem is how the school is ran. Despite telling the owner his speech therapist was coming on a particular day she agreed but due to her forgetting about it she completely humiliated her in front of everyone which is why I felt compelled to write this and to warn other parents. Unless your child is older and can communicate what's going on this place is terrible. They completely lied to us they told me his therapists are allowed to do sessions at the Montessori. That was false they segregated my son from the other children and said they can only do a session away from everyone else. Okay what's the point of that? Children learn in their natural environment they should know that if they truly are accredited.
