    I work overnights and don't get off until 8am, school starts at 8:35am. I work in a hospital and don't have the luxury of always getting to leave on time. I pick up my daughter from the sitter and go straight to the school. My daughter has been getting tardy slips for being 1min or 2min late! The latest I have been is 5min., the announcements were still being said when we walked in. If you get 5 tardis then you get a letter and if you get 20 then you get reported to CPS! I talked to the principal about it and it seemed like she understood and would make an exception. This morning, my daughter got another tardy slip for 1 minute, it actually said "1 minute"! This is ridiculous! we are getting reprimanded for something that we can't control even though she hasn't missed anything from being 1min or 2min late. We are getting the same punishment (tardy slip) as parents who bring there kids an hour or so late for no reason! Am I the only one who thinks that an exception should be made for certain cases?

    This school is amazing! My daughter is in kindergarten and she loves going to school everyday
