All three of our children graduated with honors from BHS. One is currently a medical doctor, one is an electrical engineer, and one is in college. Many extracurricular activities including science, music, sports and many others. Great opportunities through the BSC Career Academy. Like all high schools there are the kids that are not a great influence, but just watch who your kids hang out with and they will do great.

Graduated from here in the first half of the 2000s, so I’m sure many things are different these days. But the staff cared, from teachers to the lunchroom staff. I enjoyed most all of my classes, and there were plenty of extracurriculars to keep me busy and introduce me to people in other grades. The Vo-Tech Center classes at Bismarck State College were a bright spot, since it gave an opportunity to get off the main campus for awhile, and also introduces students to some very different, and potentially very practical, topics.

I was a student 5 years ago.I was a A/B student but once I got here they were C/D. I don't feel that the teachers care one way or the other if you fail or not and the counselor/principle wont work with you if you have medical problems and ship you off to the next school without so much as a 'good luck'. The girls in this school are really mean and picky about who they hang out with. I had difficulty making friends but that was because I was gone for medical reasons but I saw the bullying. If you don't want to be bullied you should go any where else. Even Century is better!
