My child attended here for a long 4 months, an elementary student. They were bullied on the first day and every single day for 4 straight months by the same person. We have never had a problem with bullying until this Christian school. There is no disciple or actions taken to hold students or teachers accountable. It’s always turn the other cheek and sweep it under the rug. At best, the teacher would ask the student, “is this a godly thing to do?” The Student replies “no.” That’s it’s. That student continued to receive good citizen awards and all the weekly privileges. This cycle continued over and over again. It crushed my student and required therapy to move past this traumatizing time. I pulled my student and realized that not all families who go there are believers leaving the teacher having to deal with the behavior. In our case, that teacher did not deal with it at all. I would consider this school to be more along the lines of a reform school where cohorts are in need of moral developmental and parental guidance that is lacking at home. Proceed with extreme caution.

Although no school is perfect (and my kids have been in three different ones), we very much appreciate the learning environment, care and family atmosphere of SMCS. This school is a great fit for our children, and they have thrived here. We want our children to be challenged academically while also being encouraged in academic areas difficult for them. Another vital aspect is that our kids are daily being encouraged and challenged in the truths of Scripture. As parents, we find many opportunities to partner with the school through sports activities and volunteer opportunities.

Absolutely horrible time here. I saw a male teacher harass a group of kids for wanting to make a banner for the school, called them insulting things such as “uncapable of ever creating” and then proceeded to say terrible unholy things about god. The next day he wore a very inappropriate nude photo shirt with a cross on it as a “protest” against his students and when i and other students went to the principal she didn’t do a single thing. Absolutely NOT Christian and Christianity is supposed to be about love and connection, not hate and exploitation!

Giving students an excellent Christian education is one of the best investments parents can make in their children's future. Sheets Memorial Christian School is designed to provide a caring, creative learning environment to prepare students for college, life and ministry. Our mission is for students to know Jesus Christ and make Him known. We accomplish this by helping students discover their God given talents and purpose for their lives through a stimulating academic and spiritual experience.

Sheets Memorial Christian School has been a Godly influence on our family for generations. There are many myths when it comes to a private, Christian School. Our family has seen firsthand how Sheets has prepared children for adulthood serving their communities, but most of all serving the Lord. Each of our family members who have graduated have gone on to 4 year schools, and beyond, as well as held executive positions in employment and ventured out to own their own businesses as well. To God be the Glory!
