Love this school. The teachers/staff are amazing and truly care about the students.

This is a terrible school system. Kids Constantly come home with lice, or sick from yet another illness back to back. Very unsanitary and gross, and a health Hazard in my own opinion. I was up numerous nights worried about my child being sick for months on end with lice every other day. When i kept her out of school, she would get well and we would get rid of the lice. Only to see it return as soon as i sent her back. Lots of bullies but noone does anything about it. They Only care about test scores and not the health or safety of your child. Good Ole boy system. Need I say more? Cause there is so much more SO MUCH. This Is my warning to whoever crosses this post. Oglethorpe county school is a mistake. The best decision I have ever made in my entire life since I have been alive has been the decision to remove my child from the Oglethorpe County School System.

Bullying, racial discrimination and sexual harassment issues all in elementary school. I think that speaks for itself. Leadership does not stick to handbook policies when it comes to disciplinary action, takes it upon themselves to teach young girls to advocate for themselves vs. teaching young men to control themselves.

Worst school I went to as a child! I was bullied and teachers did nothing to help. The bus I rode on I was getting bullied and nothing happened. My mother went to the school because I started defending myself when the teachers failed to do their job. I was about to get suspended until my mom brought up getting an attorney. I rate this school a negative 100, I understand this was around 2001 when I was going to that school but I thought I would just add my story to here.

We couldn't be more pleased with our experiences at this school. The teachers are extremely caring and are constantly going above and beyond for their students.
