We moved to SASP from a different private school 2 years ago. We are so happy that we switched. The teachers are always willing to give my children extra help when needed. The community is very supportive and welcoming.

The education is not only excellent, it's fun! My son is learning so much and comes home excited about what he's learned. They have a lot of ways to make the experience fun for the kiddos too - science experiments, different learning techniques, and so many fun activities and clubs. The teachers are accessible and ALWAYS willing to help, which is a huge improvement from our last school. Communication is excellent and consistent. My only regret is not transferring sooner.

They do not have any special services for children who need it. It is always the same people who help out and run events who they then cater to those students. Noone has any Disciplinary action, and everyone gets to do what they want. Teachers and students alike. Not sure why they have a principal they never do anything, and the Priest is a joke!

This school does not meet the need of students who are not A+ if you do not get it they cannot help you. They do not understand what it means to be helpful and meet the student when they are academically.

St Als-St Pats is a great school where my kids are getting a great education, making friends, and where I feel they are safe during the day. It has a lot of events outside of school hours to create a school community with parents as well. It is an easy school to access if you live in Lemont, Lockport, Darien, Woodridge, or Bolingbrook.

I wouldn't have it any other way. I love that the school is small enough that the teachers know every student from pre-K-8th grade by name and more than that seem to know and understand each child and their personality as well. I also love the "buddy" system that pairs the older children with the younger to foster a sense of family.

Great School! 5 Stars. The teachers and administration go above and beyond for these students. My children are receiving a quality education in a caring, enriching atmosphere. Best choice we made!

St. Alphonsus/St. Patrick's School provided me with a faith-based foundation that carried me though to a catholic High School and then to a catholic University. St. Als/St. Pats is more than a school - they are my extended family. When it was time for my son to start school I knew that the St. Als/St. Pats was the family he needed to help him learn and grow into who he is today.

I just attended the school's Open House and was very impressed with the number of people there. The older kids were conducting the tours and were very helpful and informative. Definitely the "product" (the kids) speaks for itself. They were excellent examples of how our youth should be conducting themselves. Parents be proud!

St. Al's/St. Pat's is more than a school it is a family where kids learn about community service, faith, values, academics and technology. I am happy with the academic progress have my daughters have made but I am most proud of the character they are developing.

We have greatly enjoyed this past year at St. Al St. Pats. Our daughter has flourished in their program and made great strides in her education, communication, and faith. The teachers and staff at our school are very friendly and always willing to communicate and help whenever needed. We really feel a great sense of community and pride in the school and feel that our daughter is getting the best education that Lemont can provide.

For the last 6 years, our children have attended St. Al's/St. Pat's School. We had an immediate feeling of "home" there when we attended the open house. Our children are so happy and truly enjoy school. They are all thriving academically and have made friendships that will last for years. Of the many private/Catholic school choices in Lemont and surrounding area, there is not another that you will find the dedication of faculty as you will at SASP. These teachers care about this school and these kids like it is their own community. For many, it actually is. You can't find that just anywhere. #CelticsExcel

All 3 of my children have or are currently attending SASP School. It is a wonderful, nurturing environment. We live in a community with a few private school options and I would choose SASP over all the others. I have a child with a learning disability and the staff has been instrumental to her success. I as a parent have developed so many friendships with other parents that will last a lifetime! They are academically challenging and very successful at that.

I have been a faculty member of this school for seventeen years. I am blessed to teach in a school of loving parents, students, and colleagues. We are a family. I am blessed to share my faith with the students everyday and to teach and learn alongside curious, enthusiastic, and disciplined children. You are welcome in our school. I look forward to educating many future leaders in religion and language arts.

We have all 3 of our children in the school and have been part of the school community since 2009. The smaller class sizes promote more personalized instruction by the teachers. Our oldest transitioned from the "old" curriculum to Common Core and had some hiccups but the teachers were responsive to our concerns and the individualized attention has helped him catch up. Academically, the children at the school have excelled, winning academic competitions. We love the sense of community among the staff, parents, and parish (we belong to St. Alphonsus). The Catholic values instilled in the children promote good citizenship to complement their academics. Lastly, the cost for private education is very reasonable compared to other local Catholic school options. If you're considering sending your children to a Catholic school in the area, St. Al's/St. Pat's is the best value.

All three of our children went to this school. It was a great experience while they were there but the value of the school became very apparent as each of them moved on to high school. They were very well prepared and were able to hit the ground running. It is clear to us that St Al's/St Pat's prepared our kids better than many of the other grade schools that their high school classmates attended.

St Alphonsus St Patrick school had been wonderful for our kindergarten daughter! She has learned and grown so much. We recommend this school to everyone. We love that every adult knows our daughter personally and she is developing so much confidence.

We have two children in St. Al's/St. Pat's that have attended for the past 8 years. The school offers as close to individualized attention as one could hope for with a caring and professional staff and a loving family oriented environment within the school's community of parents and alumni. If you're thinking of a private, Catholic education, come and see this absolute gem of a school - the warmth will pull you in and you'll be glad you did.

We transferred to St. Alphonsus/St. Patrick School from another catholic school. We couldn't be happier with the warm, loving environment coupled with its challenging academic program. The school offers a wide range extracurricular activities, athletics, and social events. We couldn't be happier at this school!

To make it simple, the school is small but I have not found it to be personal at all. My child's individual needs were not met and no attempt was made to meet those needs. For me, there was a gross lack of issue recognition by the staff and administration and a gross lack of follow through and implementation of solutions when problems arise. On a positive note, their test scores are very good, but I imagine there are other schools also with good test scores. I feel the teachers and administration do not take a holistic approach to education and the parents concerns are not appropriately addressed. Its a shame being that the school is so small and has the potential to be great. If you are a parent who is involved and appreciates your concerns being properly addressed, this school might not be for you.
