Attended McCaskey for four years. One of the best decisions of my life. McCaskey is rife with opportunities for students who choose to seek them out. The Early Childhood Program, Building Trades, Cosmetology, the Vidette, the yearbook, Mock Trial, Model UN, the Theatre department, the morning show and its subsequent videography classes to name some. Its music department is widely celebrated. The IB and AP courses are thorough. McCaskey is diverse, the teachers are supportive, and it has a rich and interesting history if you take a look at the old yearbooks in the library. I feel lucky to have attended a school that so thoroughly prepared me for life. McCaskey gets a bad rep from other schools in the area (Manheim Township, Conestoga Valley, Catholic High, etc) but I often wonder if that has more to do with the diversity on our campus than any legitimate issues we have. I graduated from McCaskey feeling prepared and empowered by my experience there. Now, I'm in college and thriving. Among my peers in college, it's pretty easy to tell that McCaskey prepared me for life in a lot of ways their schools did not. Send your kids here, encourage them to get involved, it'll be the best choice you make.

8 out of 10. Son is now a sophomore at Lebanon Valley College - and doing very well. The advanced academics he took while at McCaskey and the diversity well prepared him for college and young adulthood. He is very well adjusted and has broader views regarding how individuals affect the world around him.

My experience was good. Great teachers but students need more supoort from their own parents for guidance.
