I’m at a loss with how many stars to rate it tbh. There are some good things but when you have conflict with staff and you try to follow protocol as far as the chain of command for trying to address issues, things just basically get swept under the rug. Staff just seems to stick together and teachers treat your kids any way they please. My son told me about his art teacher the other day and was visibly uncomfortable going to the class. I communicated these things to the teacher and got absolutely nowhere because he lied. My son’s story was consistent. My daughter confirmed how rude this teacher is saying he yells at the class. There are some nice things but I just do not understand why they allow teachers to be nasty to the children. This isn’t the first time this happened either. Another teacher was known for being really mean yet when I complained about it and stood up for my daughter, I was treated like I was the problem.

Some of the teachers here are great and care about the kids but there are a couple that just don't take the time needed for some children to learn. My son has diagnosed behavior problems even with counselors and therapists having meetings with his teacher prior and during the school year she still didn't care. Sure she acted as if she cared but never took advantage of the coping skills provided to her for my son. Because the school district denied his special education request we were forced to deal with this teachers behavior. Its a Shame really because my other two children had a great experience but all it takes is one bad Apple to spoil a bunch.

This school does not meet parents expectations. My grandson's achievement was never recognized. When asked to provide more stimulating work the teacher told me that she was too busy because she was taking night classes. The children are now enrolled in a different Lancaster city and the teachers have time to provide extra work and are caring.
