GCS has been such an amazing experience for my boys. They have had great academic success, grown in maturity, and their love for Christ.

The administration and teachers at GCS are highly qualified, passionate Christians, who put their hearts and souls into walking alongside parents in an effort to “raise up children in the way of the Lord.” The teachers truly care for each child spiritually and academically; they seek to help grow each child to become the young man/woman that God has purposed him/her to be.The school is both ASCI and WASC accredited. The true testament to GCS is its graduates. If you have, or have had, the privilege of meeting these amazing young men and women, the value of an education at GCS will be very apparent.

Terrible! This school has created psychological trauma to many children and I’m grateful I got out

My daughter has been at Grace Christian Schools (Lake Forest, CA) for almost 10 years (started in “young 3’s” class, now in 6th grade). Choosing a school is a very difficult challenge. I have always appreciated parent reviews. In my opinion, there is no perfect school. However, there is a school that best fits your child. I have visited all the South Orange County private Christian Schools…yes, all of them (including the partial homeschools). I even sat in the back of some classes to better understand the environment. I found that there are many good schools in Orange County. However, the best fit for my child was Grace Christian Schools. In all our years at Grace, we have never been disappointed with a teacher. I have been very anxious about new teachers (my daughter had a new teacher for 3rd and 5th grade), but never disappointed. I have actually learned to trust the school to appoint wonderful teachers because of their track record. At some schools, you will have to tolerate a grade or two or even three to get to the teacher you really love and want for your child. This has not been our experience at Grace. All the teachers are truly AMAZING and truly love your child. As our daughter has grown, we have been able to work with teachers to help her grow in areas of both strength and weakness. The parent/teacher involvement is what we really appreciate at Grace – a personalized school experience fits our child. At Grace, we have an amazing staff/principal. Their hearts are filled with the love of Christ. Both my husband and I are well educated. We believe education is very important and we appreciate strong academics, and particularly, talented teachers. At Grace, our daughter receives strong academics and a well-rounded education. We primarily sent our daughter to Grace, because we wanted her to grow up with Christ in her heart - this school seemed to fit her best. Unbeknownst to my husband and me, her growing heart in Christ would awaken ours, too (even Grandpa’s!). Without a doubt, Grace continues to be the best fit for our child and our family.

Last year the longtime principal retired and unfortunately the new principal's leadership is far from stellar. Our child is currently in elementary and has been going here since preschool. We have always cherished this school but the 2016-2017 school year could have been better. The campus was always full of love and support but now it's different. We watched teachers leave, long-time staff replaced and families unhappy. This summer there are a lot of teachers quitting, administrative staff has quit, school board members have left and multiple families with wonderful children are leaving for other schools. It is very sad and it all comes down to the new principal. We pray that she takes responsibility for the mass exodus and listens to why great families are leaving. We have been here for several years and Grace does not need to lose any more quality teachers, students and their families. We need the love and compassion of our small Christian school to return and we pray the school board and church leadership will make better decisions. I wanted to post this here because our school's families are not being heard.

Our son is currently in 6th grade at Grace Christian Elementary and has been at the school since Kindergarten. Our family has truly been blessed by the school. His first grade teacher told us we should pray for our son to be academically, socially, and spiritually well rounded and we think the school has truly helped us in these three areas. It brings great joy in witnessing our son's eagerness and love for learning in a Christian environment. Thank you teachers and staff at Grace Christian Schools.

My daughter barely got into this school, this school was recommended by other moms, my daughter missed the cutoff for TK at my sons school and I didn't want her in a at home daycare any longer, I checked out the school and curriculum and was blown away! the staff and teachers are amazing. I love that they have a little bit of worship and get these children started on learning what God and Jesus is all about!

My son started at Grace for preschool and our experience has exceeded my expectations. I toured 10 schools before selecting Grace. Our teacher is exceptional in every regard. We have witnessed immense growth and social development in the first 6 months. The program offers so many additional learning opportunities on top of the daily classes. Every month there are many special classroom events that keep school fun and new. Every single activity has learning and lessons organically woven in. I am a tough critic and I am so pleased.

I have three kids and have had various ones in public school, homeschool, and Grace Christian Elementary. Since our family made the switch to Grace, my kids have been so happy. My kids are learning how to write! Writing is one of the most difficult tasks for everyone. GCS provides the building blocks to make it understandable so the kids aren't "stuck." Moreover, math facts practice is part of their daily routine, so that the basic calculations will become second nature. The part that I think is even more important for my kids is the loving atmosphere and the genuine kindness shown to the kids. This is a safe environment for the kids to grow up and receive positive messages about who they are and that God made them for a special purpose. These are the positive images of themselves that I want my kids to have. People worry about whether they will be ready for intermediate school after being under the shelter of a small private school like GCS, but I have only heard positive feedback from the first graduating class. They are prepared because they are strong individuals who have had the proper spiritual and educational foundations.

We LOVE Grace! My son is in the Transitional Kindergarten "TK" 3 day class. His teachers are GREAT! He has learned so much! He comes home and tells me the Bible stories he is learning. He leads us in prayer! They have chapel everyday, motor development and music class each week. They also memorize Bible verses and do LOTS of art. His teachers are loving and truly appreciate each of their students. I love how they emphasize good christian character like love, respect, serving others, self control and making good choices. The office staff is also wonderful! I will be sending my little one to Grace for preschool also. I cant say enough how great they are!

My son has attended Grace for past 3 yrs, and is now finishing up with Kindergarten. We love the school! The staff, teachers, parents and support are amazing. He has grown so much and we believe he has gotten to experience more than the average Kindergartener, with the programs Grace offers. Kindergarten is a full day ciriculum that includes art, chapel, computer lab, language, library, P.E. and even field trips.
