    From the principal and front office to teachers, this school is excellent! Faculty creates a great atmosphere for my children to learn. Friendly, upbeat, stress free - my kids thrive in this school.

    Not perfect but one of the better schools LPSS has to offer. Teachers are allowed to have their children in their class. This should not be allowed for obvious reasons. Love the tshirts that can be purchased. Kids love Friday good behavior reward. Pick up/Drop off is improved, although an extra lane could be added by moving some of the extra teachers in that lane as well. Teachers are doing a great job trying to start a PTA. More fun PTA activities needed instead of just fundraisers. Hope this school keeps its family atmosphere it has always had- it seems to have changed the last 2-3 years. Bullying, teasing seems have become a problem and teachers should be aware and correct the child even if they know the entire family tree. (small town probs) On the other hand - Love that teachers are not super strict and recognize that kids are kids in certain situations. Majority of teachers are friendly and show students love and care. Some teacher obviously have favorites - which is another reason why their own children should not be allowed to be in their classroom. Wonder why their child never has a conduct mark even though they hit and tease other students and get away with it.
