Great so far! My son is finishing up his second year at Seventh Ave. (1st grade). While high achieving academically, he isn't neurotypical. He's got sensory processing disorder and is being evaluated for ADHD. His teachers and the school's social worker have been kind, patient, accommodating and creative in partnering with us on various tactics to help him succeed, both in the classroom and in life.

Excellent! The school, teachers, and staff have done a great job supporting my child. He is constantly pushed to achieve higher goals. The teachers and specialist work together to make sure students are receiving any and all help to reach their potential. This is all possible thanks to the small class sizes. It has been great to be a part of this community that is so supportive.

Our experience has been wonderful at Seventh Avenue and we expect it to continue. Teachers are able to focus on individual student needs because classes are small. Through the guidance of the administrative staff and teachers, students learn to be respectful, be present and be responsible.

This is my son's 2nd year at Seventh Avenue School and we couldn't be happier. My son is excelling academically and is very happy at school. The teachers and staff are excellent and go out of their way to make every child feel at home while at school.

Before moving to this area I researched schools and spoke with the principal. Because I my conversations with school staff my family chose to live in the Seventh Avenue District. Seventh Avenue Elementary School has been wonderful for my children. Both of my daughters have gone to Seventh Avenue Elementary School K-6. Although they have very different needs, the teachers, staff and administration have been flexible and proactive when meeting their needs. One of my children has been a part of advanced learning opportunities at Seventh Avenue and was accepted into Advanced Learning Programs at the District 105 Middle School, Gurrie, and is now registering for honors classes at Lyons Township High School. My other child had a rough start to reading, and the Seventh Avenue Reading Specialist worked with her weekly to improve her reading skills. My daughter's reading scores on her MAP, state standardized test, went up more that 20 points in 1 year! I am thrilled with the academic and social emotional support my children receive at Seventh Avenue Elementary School. I highly recommend not only this school but also Gurrie Middle School in La Grange, IL District 105.

We moved into the district 4 years ago and with two children in the school have had great experiences. During that time we have had direct dealing with the leadership team and the teaching staff all of which have been manged and handled with the care of the children as the forefront and with compassion and professionalism. There is a strong focus on social and community values as well as the common core.

As a parent of a child at Seventh Ave School, I couldn't be happier. My daughter has grown 10 fold in her education, kindness, respectfulness, and overall development. The communication with the teachers and staff is amazing. I feel completely connected to the school. Her teacher, Ms. Hill, has not only pinpointed her strong points and weaknesses, but she has developed an individual plan for her. This plan not only helps her improve her weak areas (which I completely expect from her school), but also helps her excel in her strong subjects. I think most schools would just let my daughter drift through her easier subjects, but not Ms. Hill. She demanded and implemented a higher level of learning for her. That is a special teacher and a special school. Seventh Ave doesn't just want to develop a "grade passing child", they want to develop a powerful, educated, future generation. The current principal, faculty, and teachers are doing just that. Thank you Seventh Ave. We love you!!!!!u

Strong sense of community due to the small size and diverse population- truly feels like their home away from home. There is a sense that they are truly valued and cared for, and the academic rigor is very age-appropriate.

We have three children at Seventh Avenue and have been nothing less than impressed. It is an outstanding school with small class sizes, exceptional resources, top notch teachers, and an amazing principal who leads by example, is extremely hands-on, and is always approachable and responsive!

Seventh Avenue is a community. Everyone is within walking distance to school. The classroom sizes are very small. Our principal and teachers are nothing short of amazing. It is a hidden gem in LaGrange.
