It is not the perfect high school education, its prestige is not comparable to Harvard-Westlake, it is not the co-ed experience that some high school students want, but St. Francis is more than likely the right school for just about any boy. Students of all different demographics attend and make up a great community supported by nurturing and encouraging teachers who want the best out of their students. St. Francis will provide you with a great education, but more importantly you will grow mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I was nervous to attend coming from a public school with no religious background, but I know that the person I am today is because of the great effort that the teachers, friars, and other staff put into their work on a daily basis. It is not without its flaws, but it is also easily the best private high school in the area and I would highly recommend attending to just about anyone.

My sons have long since graduated from St. Francis, but the foundation this school laid for their future success is every day in their college and post-college lives. Both boys have come to us and said that they really value the power of the education this school gave them. As an aside, we are not Catholic - and we were always treated with respect and never made to feel anything but cherished members of the community. I cannot recommend St. Francis highly enough. Absolutely recommended.

Our son is a senior now at Saint Francis High School. We love this school. I highly recommend Saint Francis High School because of its strong academics, the amazing students and teachers and the college counseling department. Our son did very well at this school. We picked this school because the boys work together and help each other. There is a strong and safe community. The communication and support is outstanding. The academics are very challenging but Saint Francis makes sure the boys are prepared to master those challenges. Our son got admitted to a very good college. We are very happy!

I wish I could give this school more stars. Though nowhere is ever 100% perfect St. Francis comes pretty close. If you have a son you must check out this school. Not only are you getting a quality college prep education , sports and many other activities. You are getting something you really can't put a price on. A loving safe environment where brotherhood is fostered and the boys are taught to be charitable and do good for others. This is my sons second year and we could not be happier and most important he is happy. The way the boys are treated here is like nothing I have ever seen. I know my son will graduate and be ready college and beyond.

I am the proud father of two boys that both graduated from St. Francis. Beyond the excellent education they received, they are both quality young men, thanks in large part to the St. Francis environment and culture. Both boys are now at excellent universities, and I couldn't be more proud of them. Thank you St. Francis for playing such a positive role in their development! I would recommend St. Francis to anyone that is looking for their son to grow into a fine young man.

I am a graduate of St. Francis and I have two son's at SF now. The first thing that I can say is that there are still teachers at SF that were there when I was there nearly 30 years ago, there are teachers there now that were students at SF when I was there and most of the staff have been there over 10 years. The education and the athletics are second only to the brotherhood and the type of man the school develops. A week does not go by that I do not see or communicate with former classmates. They are still some of my very best friends. I continue to give back and volunteer at the School that has given me so much in my life.

I have been a St. Francis mom for the last 5 years. I have a son who just graduated and another one a Junior. If you are looking for academic challenge, safe environment, and a place where your son will have a spiritual growth, St. Francis is the place to be to consider. By the time your son graduates, he will have a deep appreciation for volunteerism, a great sense of brotherhood and he will have a firm foundation for any collage he choose to go

St. Francis High School is a school with not only a great education program, but also a program that helps to form character. The school embodied the characteristics of brotherhood, acceptance, service, and integrity. I also felt adequately prepared for college life and academics. My decision to attend St. Francis High School was the best decision I ever made.

This school accepts boys and helps to turn them into exceptional young men. The kids make friends for life, and I've noticed an incredibly strong Alumni Association.

My son currently attends St. Francis and I cannot stress how wonderful the school is. I love that it is small and intimate, allowing the boys to explore (and excel) every interest. My son entered high school with a strong moral character and now possesses an even stronger, more mature self, with empathy, kindness and humiliation. It isn't just about the strong academics at St. Francis, but truly the whole child. And, the school allows and welcomes parental involvement. The best kept secret in the Los Angeles area!!

I am very proud to say that both of my sons are graduates for St. Francis High School. During my first parent meeting, we were told that when my son graduated from SFHS, we would be a fine young man. That is true for all of the SFHS greaduates. The school provides a wonderful foundation with caring and attentive teachers and administrators, who are always available to the students and parents. My sons are men of character and I am very proud of them - both attending college in prestigious universities. We are all thankful for the wonderful education and supportive environment that SFHS provided to us all.

St. Francis High School offers a solid college-prep education and a fabulous Franciscan based community life for its students. Many of the teachers and some administrators are graduates of the school, which speaks volumes about the valued education and experience that they received. My son graduated from SF last year and thoroughly enjoyed the many opportunities that the school offers. St. Francis prepares young boys to be educated, thoughtful, caring and adventure seeking men who go out into the world to make a difference! Academics, sports, extra-curricular activities and spiritual life are well-balanced and all important at SF. Each student is encouraged to challenge himself with new experiences via service to others, school club activities and retreats. The community at St. Francis is genuinely special and unique for the students, parents and families as a whole. Don't overlook St. Francis!

Since its founding by the Capuchin Franciscan Friars in 1946, it has been committed to enriching the mind and heart, strengthening respect through service and humility, creating a family environment, and envisioning men of hope and peace. It offers a challenging curriculum and many opportunities for extracurricular involvement. St. Francis is fully accredited by WASC and the WCEA.

I am a very proud and grateful graduate of St. Francis High School. The school prepared me extremely well for the academic rigors of a top tier university and enhanced my athletic abilities so that I could compete at the collegiate level. More importantly, St. Francis fostered my spiritual formation and provided an environment that allowed me to develop a personal relationship with the Lord. I graduated as a man of character and integrity - characteristics that have sustained me ever since. I would highly recommend this high school to any young man who dreams of being extraordinary.

St. Francis High School provided an excellent environment in which I could grow into the individual I am today. Through the religious education provided by the Capuchin Franciscan Order, I developed a comprehensive moral system founded upon the Franciscan principles of acceptance, humility, brotherhood, and compassion. Through academically challenging myself, I was able to develop the critical thinking skills necessary to my current college education. Inspirational teachers in the biology department showed me how incredible learning can be and instilled a passion and enthusiasm for learning that I still possess today. I'm very thankful for the opportunities I had at St. Francis High School, and I am very proud to stand amongst so many incredible alumni.

A friend whose sons attended St. Francis once told me, "Give them your boys; they'll give you back men." I did just that. All three of my sons attend St. Francis and it has been the best money I've ever spent. I believe they're getting a quality education but more importantly, St. Francis focuses on the bigger picture, the whole child.

As a parent of a St. Francis High School graduate, I can honestly say you will not regret sending your son to this school. It is an environment that allows all the boys to shine and excel in their studies, as well as whatever school activity they choose to participate in. The teachers are great. They are kind, dedicated, and caring, but firm in what they expect from their students. Your son will mature into a strong, confident, and well mannered man ready to take on the world. Students are prepared for college and all the challenges that the college life will present to them. I am very proud of my son and who he has become. I will always be grateful to St. Francis High School for helping him on his journey.
