Unfortunately, we are zoned for this school. Run far from this school if you can. My children were coming from with bruises on them from other kids bullying them at school (physically and verbally). I followed allnproper routes and nothing was done. The teachers claimed it's not bullying because it was happening to other kids too and that there was nothing they could do about it. Teachers are not supported by the admin to be able to make a difference. I ejded up having to file a report with the district to have anything done. My children went from loving school to being severely depressed and now they hate going to school. They don't feel safe at school and I have since pulled them out and resorted to home schooling.

My son is in Ms.Harris' s kindergarten class. He came here in February from pleasant ridge and he has done tremendous! ! His other school pushed him like does. She's great!!

Last year was my children's first year and I had some issues. I took those issues to the principal, teachers and other staff and they listened and helped me get help for some issues. I was still frustrated at the schools lack of safety measures that were in play. This year they have moved to a new level in their security which was my main concern last year. Kim in the front office is amazing, always helpful and has the best attitude. Ms. Holly Fox is the most amazing teacher I have ever seen. She truly loves teaching and her children. She is always available and willing to discuss any issue. In the short time the children have been in school this year Mrs. Davis is making a great difference in my daughter. I think she is wonderful. I do realize that Kids Place is a separate organization however, they interact with a great deal of students and are phenomenal. Mrs. Gina and Ms. Trista work very hard and truly love my children.
