As a current honors student, I love Henley, but this school has some fundamental issues regarding discrimination among students and dual credit courses transfering to schools.

My daughter went through all 3 Henley schools. She took all honors classes while in high school and learned a lot as her teachers really cared about the education she received while there.. Many of her teachers had her challenged in her classes to help encourage her to do research on her own. She graduated in 2021 with a 4.0 top of her class with honors diploma and just shy of a 2 year college degree. As a parent I was and continue to be involved with my childern's education. I found that her teacher were always available to discuss concerns I may have had. I never had a issue with the administration as if there where any issues They were always very willing to help address them.Great school. yet it is high school..

The counselors have a hard time with students who are taking advanced college classes that count towards HS credits. Followup to parents was almost nonexistent. Causing issues with needed credits. The high school also gets their “100%” graduation rate by moving failing kids to Falcon Heights academy. All in all not the worst school in town but also not the best.

I now have my second child attending Henley HS. I was very pleased with the education my oldest child got here. She was well prepared for college when she graduated. My second child has many different interests and we find she has more than enough opportunities to participate in a wide range of activities. The teachers are caring and have good leadership from a newer administration. I find the front end of the school is running much more smoothly. My children have always felt safe and valued at this school. Parents are given many chances to volunteer in just about any area they would like. I will be pleased to send my third child to school at Henley HS.

Henley is the best high school in the area. Test scores are above all other schools in Klamath and one of the highest in the state. Staff care about students personally and take an interest in their success. Athletics are second to none.
