Entering our second year at Forest Academy and we think it’s fantastic. The communication with teachers and administrators is phenomenal, the class sizes are unbeatable. There’s always going to be issues with kids not getting along at school and we think the teachers do a fine job at communicating what’s going on and handling problems. My children love Forest and they say they feel safe there and they learn a lot! Yay for Forest Academy! Keep up the good work everybody. You’re not going to get this type of attention from a public school.

I just took my daughter out of the Forest Academy. She went there all last year and up to today this year. Since the beginning she’s been bullied by one specific child and the principal does absolutely nothing. The bully has violent outbursts in class and, that’s ok too. The teachers and other students shouldn’t have to put up with this!!! The bullying policy has no teeth!!! Personally, the principal is nice but, she has no business being an administrator. Choosing one child’s bad behavior over protecting many others and her staff is absolutely ridiculous!!!

Dicipline is horrible. Student does something wrong 5 minutes from recess. Teachers are bottom of the barrel. Its makes sense that they cant get quality teachers when they harldy pay their teachers above poverty. Starting teachers at 19k a year. Wow.

Especially for parents wanting to be involved in their child's education... great little school. The 10:1 student/teacher ratio is unbeatable. The white shirts are horrible, but a small price to pay for the attention the students receive.
