Enfield is an awesome school. The class sizes are small, teachers are enthusiastic and supported by their administrators and there is a real sense of community. There is a curriculum centered around gardens and farming. There’s a creek and sledding hills and kids spend a lot of time outside year round.

My daughter has excelled from K to 4th and it's all thanks to the incredible teachers! We had one year where she wasn't challenged and we did our part to push her at home and communicate with the teacher. Otherwise, the experience has been phenomenal! The music and art programs are fantastic and the parent involvement has been good. With the exception of the receptionist (lol) we've only ever experienced friendly and cordial staff. We do our part to get involved and I believe that makes a huge difference at any school.

I stuck with Enfield because I really liked the guidance counselor at the school. i loved his pre-k kindergarden and first grade teachers. after that things just went down hill. one bad teacher can just ruin school for the child, and and adult. my child got a reputation I believe. and could never let it down. Being extremely smart I feel he was under stimulated. and also being very artistic and having a very intellectual vocabulary for his age some of the teachers just don't know how to deal with kids like him. and being so country maybe alot of them are scared of whats different any time a group of kids got in trouble it was "always" blamed on my son for being the ring leader. Is it because of his multi-cultural backround ? IDK. but what I do know is why is there a kid that everyone he meets tells me how brilliant he is and sweet and well mannered. except the school ?! Oh and also be prepared to be not spoken to ever when u walk into the school and treated like you have three heads unless u fit into the enfield box !
