  The facilities are newer than most (if not all) schools in the area, but cleanliness and keeping equipment current appear to be a challenge. Located very close to M66 and adjacent to the Community Services center, safety of students is of grave concern. There is a field for students to play soccer and baseball, and this would be wonderful if there were enough students and personnel to take advantage of this opportunity. This small one-room church school offers a level of flexibility (especially field trips) that larger schools cannot. However, the educational experience of students is limited in: number of peers in which to choose friends from, variety of teachers, variety of support services, special educational services, sports, current technology, etc. The school is managed by a select few church volunteers, which potentially could benefit the operation of the school, but also has the potential to limit the experience that the student will gain, especially to that of the SDA religion and the particular views of the school board chairperson. If you are lucky, your child will obtain a good experience with good children. If you are not lucky, your child will obtain a bad experience with challenging children. Either way, this experience will be with your children for the rest of their life. They (and you) will either have fond memories or many regrets. The church will allow children of Christian parents of other denominations, but their goal is to have your children and your family become SDA. When you become SDA you will get a small break on your tuition, but will pay the church 10% of your income, additional income for church operational expenses, be placed on a rotating schedule to clean the church, and be nominated for numerous church positions. Invest sufficient time in visiting the school and church, meeting with and asking many questions of the school board and school board chairperson, church leadership, parents of students, and observing the children that your child will be very closely associated with.
