This school changes lives. When I enrolled my son into this school, he had gotten suspended from his previous school. We went through with me, a single mom, chaperoning my son in class. He had ADHD with some aggressive behavior. The previous school he was in couldn't handle his behavior and it had me in a state of anxiety. I would have to leave work to pick him up. It was affecting us not only emotionally, but financially. This school unburdened our whole lives. They are the village that my son was missing. They treat their students like family. There is no judgement from the staff. They are amazing. The students build positive relationships. Everyone knows each other and encourages each other. They recently had a performance for Hispanic Heritage month and our family really appreciate that. They are a beautiful school and through the school my son has showed insurmountable amount of growth. He has flourished into a responsible young man. He's been at the school since 2nd grade (he was the youngest kid in the class) and is now in 5th grade. Mr. Lewkow is great. Mr. Joseph is very communicative and helpful. The lunch lady is kind and caring. Mr. I is a great coordinator. Ms. Thomas is a great bus driver. Ms. Wright is always on top of the IEP papers. Hope this review helps future parents looking to enroll their kids here.

this is honestly one of the best schools for kids not only to learn about general knowledge but to learn about life and know how to care for one another because 1 nation is better than separation FROM: BDAWG

I LOVE this school. This school made me a believer. When I was unsatisfied with my son last school. Slauson Learning Center turn my doubt into faith. I could not ask for a much better school. Slauson Learning Center is a school that care about their students and about their families. this school has helped me and my family is so many ways I am so grateful. when I was down the teacher and staff administrator encourage me all the way. they never let a day go by without giving me a kind words when I was struggling through life. If I could I will give the school a hundred Stars it's a great school from the students to the people. they have helped my son with self control character the value of life the meaning of Education support and how to love his self. The man at the school stepped up and really has been a role model to not only to my son but all the men at the school from Slauson Learning Center one to Slauson Learning Center two. I would recommend this school to anyone it's the best that I seen. I LOVE THIS SCHOOL

My son has been to no less than six schools from the help group Vista Del Mar Tobinworld none of them were able to deal with my sons behavior like this school I gave them a broken angry little boy and they gave me back A happy productive students I consider myself blessed for help finding the school the staff the teachers and the administration look out for your child and understand your situation as if they are family I think God for Slauson Learning Center And the staff and administration

My son has been attending Slauson Learning Center #2 since October of 2012 and I have to say I am extremely satisfied with our experience so far. Slauson Learning Center does not believe in taking the easy way out and suspending thier students, but instead have "in school study" where the child still gets an opportunity to learn and be in school. This was not the norm at my sons last school and we are very lucky to have found a school where the all the staff go above an beyond to give my child the best chance at reaching his potential. Slauson Learning Center has been the first school where he has experienced success and most important he loves going to school everyday. -proud parent

I would like to share my review of Slauson Learning Center by sharing part of a letter I wrote to the administrators and staff earlier this year: Monday through Friday a bell rings on Wall Street; it signals the start of investments, the purchase and sale of items. The Slauson Learning Center in its own fashion makes an investment however it is in the lives of our children, community, and our country. The teachers & support staff at Slauson Learning Center seem to really care, their willingness to be a part of the staff says much. The children at Slauson Learning Center do not fully understand that a lack of self-control winn under mind every areea of thier lives. Words just aren't sufficient to say what a great endeavor you undertake everyday and the difference your school makes. I admire the the job you are doing at Slauson Learning Center, the investment in changed lives. May God bless your efforts.

My son was diagnosed ED. He was at a diiferent NPS for about 2 years with rarely any success. He has now spent one full year and now on his second year he is already on dual-enrollment. The entire staff are like family and they really care about the kids, I hate to have to see my son go back to public school. The staff takes each child's success very personal and do what ever it takes to make your child succeed. The teachers my son has had are always available not just from 8 to 4. I recommend this school highly to everyone if you care about your child this is the place. It is like having a support team just for your child. I can't say enough about this school.
