This school administration is disorganized and does not keep parents informed. I have made many attempts to get my kid's records and transcripts without success. First, it took many requests to even get a response then when I finally got a response they provided me with incorrect records to include missing classes and grades. While my kid attended my kid's class was significantly behind in nearly every subject. Updates and information is usually communicated last minute or not at all. The school attempts to sweep things under the rug in order to maintain their appearance instead of keeping parents informed.

I graduated top of my class a number of years ago and even gave our graduation student commencement speech. I have since graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree. My experience was being in an environment that was insanely strict. We were told it would prepare us for the real world. Rather, it gave us a false sense of reality that led to much anxiety over issues that were a major deal in our school, but not to anyone else. The level of strictness that was pushed on us during my time made most students not care about even trying because it was nearly impossible to make it to the standards pressed on us. Many times it seemed the care of having a shirt tucked in meant more than college preparation. I can't answer for what the school is like today since I graduated a number of years ago, but I can say, if I could go back in time, I would go elsewhere.

I attended Heritage Christian School as a freshmen in the year 2018-2019. This high school is not very much of a nurturing environment in my opinion, I am now a junior at my other Christian private school. The one I go to now is amazing, so don't judge all private schools from this one if your experience was negative. I've been to three in total, and enjoyed most of them and the one I am at currently a lot. This school is way too strict, and not really in any good ways, such as from experience from my brother getting a detention from a simple drop of a pen. Another experience being getting detentions for not having a red pen to grade, or having the back of ones shirt untucked. My brother and parents, did not feel welcome here whatsoever. Other experiences include sexist comments made sometimes by certain individuals, will not name. Just not as helpful at all to a young student, hard environment for at least me to enjoy. During my one year here as a student, the only things my class really did for student enjoyment was a field day at the school campus, and a Christmas food event which was again at campus. Other than that, there were no out of school trips during that year for both 9th and 7th grade. The environment as well is not very pleasing, not much windows, closed off, and dull in appearance with little variance overall. Some individuals as well would often treat students as lesser individuals, but in almost aggressive and just downing ways. The school needs to be more open, and more supporting overall of students who are at least in the high school grades. I found my experience here to be personally very unpleasing, could be different for others.
