Amazing. I love the school and would highly recommend it. The safety is out of this world, the teachers are very caring, my kids love going to school every morning, and I know they are learning every day.

This school is terrible. My 22 month old son went here from 18 months and I just pulled him out Monday. He would come home with random scratches on his face and no one could tell me or my husband how he got them. The director was defensive when we brought it up and at some point during the conversation she told my husband "If it is that big of concern for you, maybe you should pull him out of this school." Besides that, you don't get any updates. I never knew what he ate, how his temperament was that day, or most importantly, what he was learning. The only worksheets that came home were pictures that were colored by him, no work on letters or numbers. You could never go to the back and see the children in their environment they would basically have him waiting at the door by the time you walked in. By 5PM or so, all of the babies were in their carseats and all of the toddlers had their jackets on and were constrained to tables and chairs ( I had to go to the restroom one day, that is the only way I could peak in to see what was really going on). The children were sitting looking at each other, because the Director has the teachers cleaning 24/7. Constantly, they are vacuuming and cleaning windows. So, the only thing positive I can say about this facility is that it is very neat and clean.

Montessori Learning Cottage is a great place for kids if you want them to be happy, open-minded and smart. My daughter is in this school for 3.5 years. Teachers are attentive. They take care about child's well-being and success. All kids are always clean, healthy and happy. And I can confirm my child has great knowledge of many things and is beyond than just ready for the school. And what I really like and appreciate is that this school grows child's interest in studying and all school and life activities

My son went to school here for 3 years and we felt that they took good care of him. They provided a loving, safe and happy environment that focused on a structured curriculum.

My son attended Montessori Learning Cottage from age 6 months to 5 years old. I am so sad to see him moving to another school. Montessori Learning Cottage has provided an excellent education for him. They have worked with him on language development in Spanish and English, fine and gross motor skills, social skills, swimming plus the expected state curriculum. They didn't only teach, they nurtured him and made us feel safe having him there since day one. The staff is courteous, caring and communicated frequently with us about his progress. I highly recommend this Montessori for anyone who wants a truly enriching experience for their children.

Been sending my daughter since she was an infant. She is now in the toddler class. She has learn to explore the world with confidence and joy. The owner Shireen is always happy to answer questions on her progress. My daughter speaks in full sentences. I credit the school with her rapid speech and motor development. The school also offers so many wonderful extra curricular activity such as swim class right on their premises where it is safe. My daughter will go to this school as long as she can.

This is the worst school that you can imagine for your toddler. They do not allow parents even to see the environment where your loved one is spending most part of his life. Director is rude and teachers are not qualified. Management has strict rules on parent's visits, however one teacher let my husband in (it was his very first time visiting this school), when director was not there just because he told that his child is there. How does she know if he really was a parent. She just opened the door and let him in to see sleeping children! without checking his and his child's name. When he went inside, he saw how children were sleeping on the floor (not on the matts) and some of them were awake crying and there was NOBODY in the class. It was the worst 4 months of day care experience in our life. My child was stressed all the time and even after 2 months of being there, he still cryed. We went to another montessori school and it took him 3 days to get used to the teachers and place. he loves daycare now and i feel the progress in his development versus Montessori cottege, where he spent 4 months and was always sick and depressed.

overall this school has been great for our child. we were first at another daycare facility that let the kids run wild and did little to no learning. this facility however, i would classify more as a school. the kids are well-behaved and my son (2.5) comes home talking and singing up a storm. as for discipline -- yes, there are time outs given. i do think it is necessary to have some sort of discipline and not have the kids left to their own devices. i do wish there was more parental involvement though. i know of other schools that have times where parents have lunch with the kids.

Both my kids have gone to this school since they were babies, my son for the last 5 years, and my daughter for the last 2 years. We absolutely love it - it has been a second home for my kids. My son is doing very well academically and has excellent math and reading skills, he has done very well in formalized G/T tests taken outside the school. My daughter is still not at the reading age, but she is making good progress. The kids are always excited about going in to school each morning, and have a lot of fun every day. The staff is very caring and helpful, and my children talk about them a lot so they are obviously very well taken care of. The director maintains a lot of discipline and safety in the school. The cost is also a bargain. I am really glad I found this place!

Parents are not involved at all. The director is rude. As another parent who mentioned it is like a dictatorship! The time out punishment is always in. We were never allowed to the place. I think I rescued my child from this school!

My daughter has been going to MLC since she was 6 weeks old, and is 9 months now. She smiles and laughs at the staff when I drop her off in the morning, and when I pick her up in the afternoons. She is shy with new people, even from 3 months on, but is so comfortable with the two caregivers in the infant room (one of which has been there for 15+ years) and the other staff, she happily goes from one person to another. The school is clean and bright, and I can always talk to the director and caregivers about what's going on with my daughter. The director knows each child very well, and roams from classroom to room. I feel lucky to have found such a great place for my daughter when she was so little, and would highly recommend their daycare to anyone.
