First of all TUITION IS NOT FREE. I love the values they teach. Good teaching, teachers are awesome. We have a new principal Ms. Bennett, she is so wonderful available at any time of the day. But there is only two thing i DO NOT LIKE, they go from 7:40am to 5:00pm. The kids get all stress out because of that, too many hours to my opinion. Some of parents that agree with the schedule is because they use school as a day care! Hope they read this. the kids are still kids and need to relax after school and with this whole homework they leave to my girl is crazy. Second of all they ask for MONEY all the time such as, unnecessary uniforms, lotteries during the year, sales, hard for a single mom. Other than that would be the perfect school.

This school is great interms of providing high quality leadership as well as very talented and energetic YOUNG teachers. The students learn Spanish and Music class early on inaddition to their regular Reading, Math and Science classes. Parent followup is essential. Proud to be a parent of a KIPP SHARP student!!!

Kipp go above and beyond to reach out to kids that have little or no hope for a future to let them know that they are somebody, and they can be somebody if they want to be.

Teachers are invested and involved. They set ambitious goals and will do whatever it takes to help all students at SHARP succeed.
