My daughters both started at Messiah Montessori from Toddler Center. By the time we moved out of state my oldest was going into 7th grade and youngest into 4th grade.If we hadn't had to move I would have been happy for my girls to go all the way through High School right there. The quality of their education was top-notch but the school is also a caring Christian environment where the students are taught not only about "school" subjects, but also about Christianity, the value of being a positive, contributing member of society, and being a complete person through love of Christ, education and the arts.When we found a school we felt was worthy to enroll the girls in, they had to take placement testing and they blew the instructors away! My oldest at 11 years old was doing math word problems at the 11th grade level! Our youngest was also ahead of where she was expected to be by a couple years.But the instructors were also impressed with how our girls carried themselves, spoke, and were relaxed, natural and knowledgeable on every day topics and current events as well as the traditional school related subjects. The instructor actually took time to speak with the girls' mother after testing and asked about "where have they been going to school? We definitely want them to attend!". She was very complementary of how well adjusted and educated the girls are after attending Messiah Montessori.

Messiah Montessori School is a great school! Super nice people here! My child loves going to this school where children learn by doing and it’s easy to make friends. Highly qualified compassionate teachers work with students in small groups and individually to advance them to make progress to higher standards. Really the best place for children to be educated in a school that feels like home and feels like family.

Messiah Montessori is an awesome school where all of the students learn a lot and we all like going to school here. We have great field trips and lots of friends. I love this school.

Messiah Montessori is a great school that has high academic standards and an atmosphere that students really like. My children enjoy going to school here and are getting a great academic education in a friendly social setting. This school is a school that I highly recommend without reservation.

Not very good overall, but It is what is it and i wouldn't be me today if the staff and students at messiah did not put me through what they did put me through. Overall I give this either a strongly disagree or disagree. Send your child here if you want to traumatize them, make them a loner, or have no regard for thier wellbeing or self importance.

The board of education should look into this one. Child went from pricipals list to crying everyday. Being thete just 3 months. Payed almost $2 thousand just so she could go to another school the following year.

As an International family transferred from another state, we appreciate that diversity is promoted and highly valued at Messiah Montessori. 'Respect' and 'Peace' are core values that are put into practice by the International staff and student body which consists of local, out-of-state, and international students. And the tuition is a real value for the high quality education we are provided at Messiah compared to private schools of similar high quality located in other states. Messiah is the right choice!!

EXCEPTIONAL SCHOOL IN EVERY WAY!!!Messiah Montessori School has accomplished what few even dare to dream: creating a quality educational center in which children excel in academic knowledge while they really enjoy their time of learning. Wow!! Great theatre production and violin concert at the 'Night Before Christmas' school performance. Very creative and clever original play!!! Packed house as usual. and all students have opportunity to participate, from toddlers to high school. What a feat!! Students at Messiah Montessori are so fortunate to have these fine arts opportunities. This school and its staff has so much energy and excellence in everything they do.

Houma's BEST kept secret!! I just toured Messiah Montessori and was absolutely impressed beyond words with what I saw...children working independently and focused on learning; high levels of work and understanding; foreign language immersion; beautiful classrooms filled with learning materials; and the most peaceful and productive learning environment that I have ever seen!! Houma needs to discover this educational gem that is in our midst.

At Messiah, our children really understand what they are being taught. Instead of just memorizing facts that would soon be forgotten, they learn content and the skills to apply what they learn. Teachers and staff really care. And it's a real family place. All the teachers have their own children attending the school. The school atmosphere is so pleasant and peaceful. This is the kind of school that I wish I had gone to when I was going to school. It is truly an amazing place!!

Messiah Montessori is a great school that teaches hands-on methods of learning to our children. There are so many Montessori learning materials in each classroom. You can tell that the school invests lots of finances into the Montessori materials and classrooms so that our children can learn in a beautiful learning environment. The teachers are so friendly and loving. School staff is professional and truly helpful. We appreciate everything that is done for us, especially the fact that our children can remain here for their entire education through High School.

School is starting on Monday, August 18. As a teacher at Messiah Montessori, I am very excited to see the children and teach them new lessons that will help them grow. Messiah is a great school where the administration and teachers have a heart of love and compassion for the children. We go the extra mile. When you enter the building, you will experience a family atmosphere. Because of this atmosphere, the children love to learn and go beyond the norm. They love their school. This school has blessed me and my family in ways inconceiveable through conventional training methods. By stepping out of the box and figuring out what naturally works in society for consensus and harmony, Messiah has created an entire generation of young people who not only "know" how to learn but they actually see learning as fluid and changing and constantly changing. These students inspire others to make life changes in approaches to everyday problems we all share. Messiah has educated my children's character; not just standardized facts and figures. They have "infected" me with teaching and parenting methods I would have otherwise not known of. This is a vision that, if properly nourished, can "infect" the entire world with wisdom and kindness -- naturally!!!
