This is the first year my child has attended this school. I am disgusted at the way things are handled and the lack of communication between the educators and the families. The principal is incredibly overvalued- I do not feel comfortable around him.The schools test scores overall have dropped significantly and when I was at A school function I literally overheard the staff members talking about the students. I’m so upset I own A home in this district as I moved here 5 years ago when things were so much better. Do better HSCD

The tea here at Merton Williams are all so kind. They teach students the things they need to know and more. The students get challenges but not too much. The teachers help focus on ea g child support individual needs without disrupting everybody else. Merton provides the balance between fun and education. Hilton is the most amazing school district in the area and Merton Williams is an amazing middle school. I couldn't find a single bad thing to say about the school no matter how hard I tried.

Merton Williams has far exceeded our expectations! The Hilton Central School District is the best kept secret on this side of town. We have two children, one at Northwood Elementary and one at Merton Williams. We know first-hand that the education they are receiving is top-notch.

I have a 7th grader in Merton Williams and a 4th grader in Northwood. I feel both schools go above and beyond to make sure that the children learn everything they can includung 'outside the box'. In fact I feel they may go overboard with certain students and parents who think they should be treated to special and disrupt everyone else. They instill life lessons in thess children that some parents can not do. There is a world out there beyond these school borders and these children are being well prepared to face it. Information ,different types of teachers , being allowed to say what they think and working on solutions. I wish I had one more to send to this district.
