Very limited resources make the quality of the school poor. They don’t have a gym teacher so academic teacher’s substitute. They did not find replacements for teachers on leave so often special classes are not held. The student to teacher ratio is an issue with one class having an estimated 33 students in one class.

I can not even begin to describe how amazing this school is. The students and teachers are very helpful and polite, and the games we always play are very engaging. There are some amazing athletic kids in our school, who are great at Kickball and Wiffle Ball. 10/10 I would recommend this school, and the activities such as basketball, baseball, and softball.

This school is amazing in terms of education. Our teachers/staff are great people and they are willing to teach our children to learn and grow as individuals. I've also heard about their schools' lunches. Their lunches are great and the kids love eating the food that the cafeteria creates. They are handcrafted, made from scratch food that will nourish the children. They also create benefits that other schools need to learn and induct in their school. They have school recesses and study halls. Their recess and materials are great, the kids are growing cognitively and learning life-long skills such as: teamwork, innovation, and creation. Their after school activities/sports are a great way to help your child too. Baseball, Basketball, and Soccer, and more sports like Cross Country, Lacrosse, and Volleyball are lead by professional teachers and coaches that'll boost their athletic skills. Basketball is their main focus at this school, and have state-national ranked players on their roster. Azlan Afandi, Cody Banks, Reilly Regan, and Tarek Qumar Eldeen, are some of their top players and certainly are a force to be reckoned with. Honestly the school is not that bad. It is tolerable, at best. One of my peers was extremely disruptive, on multiple occasions, and no one knew how to help her. She would scream and flip desks and prevent other classmates from being educated, while the staff ran around chaotically. Food was okay even though I found hair in my food, along with common garnishings of plastic wrappers. Mrs. Betz, Buccine, Webber, Fader, Coach K and the rest of the custodial staff were the highlights of my experience. They showed value in the students experience and emotions. One time I was visibly exhausted in class and instead of getting yelled at Mrs.Webber kindly told me to go to the bathroom. As for the rest of you, be better.

I had a horrible experience at High Bridge Middle School. Teachers were never helpful and when students asked questions, they were made fun of. In gym class, we never did anything fun and had 5-6 gym teachers in my whole 4 years. The school couldn’t even get a Spanish teacher to teach us. The lunch food was horrible. Also, the teachers made students not want to come to school and hate being there. When school should be a safe place for students and a place to learn. I felt like my opinion never mattered and when I said something I was bullied for it. Parents, if you have the chance to let your kids go to a different middle school, let them.

The school is decent but Not good enough to get more than a 3 star rating. The teachers gave a detention for a student asking what time it is and we have PE almost every day of the week and all we do is kickball every day. Some classes give you one project for the entire year and if you get anything wrong you fail the class. All we ever do in math is the same stuff every year but we learn one new easy topic. The school almost does nothing to stop bulling. The chromebooks we use barely work for example we needed to download an app for a project but I needed to clear space for it but there is nothing the delete and every single time the chromebook shut down all apps need to be reinstalled and all our work in the app is deleted. the only good teachers are the music, social studies, and the algebra teacher.

This place is a foul, distasteful, behemoth of a "school". Teachers throw tantrums if students are not listening, refuse to assist students when they need help, question students then throw another tantrum when they answer because talking back (they were only answering a question) is "disrespectful". The only reason that I rated the teachers better than a 1 star is because the math teachers I have had so far, i'm in grade 7, have been amazing. There are 4 male teachers, all of which have been outstanding and pleasant people. Most of the female teachers except for the first math one, have been terrible to students and take out all of their frustrations on them. The school can't even keep a PE teacher, in 3 years they have had 5 different teachers for PE and each one, except for the first and fourth, graded us harshly, made us play games that the entire class disliked, or have just let us do absolutely whatever while they just sat on their phone. Students have even left the school on multiple occasions while the teachers just sat there, most likely playing Candy Crush. The school is a cheap, sad place to be, not including the people that attend. The people that attend HBMS are the most funny, caring and thoughtful people I have met. I will most likely keep in touch with each and every one of them until High School. Overall, don't go here, it's waste of tax money and the teachers obviously don't get paid enough to care.

Principal does not have a backbone to enforce that teachers do their jobs. Bullying is ignored or encouraged. Teachers set a role of intolerance. School does not value diversity in culture, ability, etc. One teacher commented that he “likes to call on the special education students to repeat the directions.” They do not value students as individuals. Poor excuse for a school.

My experience in this school has been pretty unpleasant. Teachers do the bare minimum that their jobs require. Bullying-wise the teachers have been worse than the students. There have been "special-needs teachers" who have been seen making fun of special needs students. The principal ignores most complaints. The homework is fine for the most part, though sometimes too much is given or is borderline distasteful (ELA assignment where a tweet had to be written from the perspective of a character in a WWII book. Making up a "tweet" about a topic so heavy just seems a bit distasteful). If I could sum up my main problems in one sentence with this school, I'd say that not only does the school feel unprofessional to the point where it feels like a bunch of random people were given the tools to run a school and told "have at it!", but it often feels like the teachers were working against the students, not with them. There have been a few exceptional teachers, like really amazing, but beyond that, I'm at a loss to find good things to say about this school.

My children have had terrible experiences at this school. I have given the school one star because that is the lowest rating I can provide.
