I personally love Hesperia High School. My parents went here and so did my aunts and uncles, and now me, my siblings, and my cousins all come here. The staff here is amazing and helped me through everything. The staff was even extremely nice and helped me plan everything out when I was only a sophomore and I pregnant and confused about how I would still do school. They helped me with a 4 year college plan. All of the staff members here truly care for you, even me when I would always be in trouble, they still looked after me. All my teachers I've ever had, all my families teachers, and all of my friends teachers all care about our grades and offer tutoring after school, during nutrition, during lunch, or before school. Some teachers will let you re take tests too, to make sure you can get your grade up. Even if you go to tardy sweep in the office, they check you grades and talk to you about how you can get them up. Everybody here takes bulling very seriously. They also take sexual harassment, or harassment of any kind seriously. I am very glad I am at Hesperia.

I did not enjoy my experience here at Hesperia High School. The staff in the main office are incredibly horrible people. I was sexually harassed on multiple occasions, despite my anxiety of confrontation I finally decided to stand my ground and tell the principal about what kept happening to me. All he had to say to me was “boys will be boys.” The one and only time they punished one of the harassers, it was a male black student, yet they left the other white males alone. The rest of the staff laughed at how I kept coming back, it’s very bizarre that the school would care so little about a female student being harassed on school grounds. They cared little about my safety. I was followed home from school by an upperclassman (I took a specific bus home, he always walked home, and we lived in two different cities.) I was uncomfortable with this behavior and once again, when I asked for help from the “adults” in the main office, no one batted an eye. Truly frustrating. I would never trust my child to be in the hands of such failure excuses of our guardians. Please think twice before enrolling your children into this school. They allowed this behavior. I never felt safe in school, I was constantly on edge about everyone around me that my grades had started slipping. I had asked for extra help on work, I asked for security for my safety, I asked for a counselor to aid me in my mental health. Only maybe about one teacher had granted me the comfort I needed as a student. Every other teacher, principal, staff in the main office, were all ignorant of me. I had VISUAL proof of everything that had happened, not even that had convinced them to even TALK to the boys involved. It is so so so disgusting. This school absolutely ruined my mental health and grades. Leaving Hesperia High School was my greatest decision, I really hope parents read this and rethink enrolling their child here.

I love this school. My parents went here, cousins, now me, and if we still live here my kids will to.

I tried to make a liking of this school in the beginning when i first started attending here but I quickly learned that it's a terrible school and not only campus social life but other stats such as terrible overall test scores, terrible equity, ect. I have had straight A's and B's through all grade levels, nut when I started attending hesperia high school I wasn't being challenged enough, protected from other students enough, and barely learning anything. I should have went to Silverado High School.

By far the best high school in the HD. Great academic opportunities, fun clubs, and some awesome teachers!
