It's a good school with good academics. The administration is good too. It isn't as good as a few years ago since they changed the school assignments.

Administration is uncoordinated. Some teachers seemed as if they didn't care to be there or whether the students were learning. When the issues started in Israel the school installed metal detectors, which I found offensive because of the diversity in the school. Bullies were not only students but some faculty as well.

This is school offers a lot to the students here you will find great teachers here who care and support you on pass middle school and the cafeteria food is really good and really clean food and the staffs are nice so I would recommend your child to come to this school and let them enjoy their

This school has changed so much in the last ten years. The front office staff couldn't be more rude and unhelpful. There are several teachers that should be reprimanded for their behavior and lack of professionalism. Since the return from Covid the teachers act as if they can say and do whatever they want to students with out any sort of repercussions. The quality of education as a whole has declined drastically in Henrico County and this school being a good example of just how far Henrico County has declined over the years.

This school is so cool man. I'm so happy I left private school because this is much better. I've had no problems with the administration and the teachers are generally nice and care about the kids that they're teaching. I've made amazing friends this year and am sad that I have to go.

Best baseball team played there won the teams first championship, but the most of the teachers where mean and unruly, others where nice and fair.

The BEST MS in the NATION. All of my kids teachers were positive influences and both of my kids are better off from their Holman MS experience

My daughter is a rising 8th grader.. From the moment she began her 6th grade at Holman Middle till now she has been extremely happy with this school.. She is very challenged and has many wonderful experiences and opportunities to explore the various clubs and activities offered at Holman.. Her education has been very challenged and all of her teachers are wonderful.... I cannot say any negative remarks about Holman..... Only great things!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You could not ask for a better ensemble of teachers and staff. The population is diverse and respectful - students come from all backgrounds and interact with one another regardless of their abilities or differences. There is a high standard for academic excellence and model student behavior, and this is prevalent in the everyday learning environment. The school is equipped with cutting edge educational technology, and digital learning is the norm. I highly suggest this school to anyone considering a move to this district in the HCPS system.

The best school experience we could have asked for. My child was in the first class to complete grades 6-8. Dr. Fellows and his staff have done an excellent job at every turn.

I went to Holman for the first 3 years it was open and all 3 years it was terrible my Algebra teacher was the meanest teacher I have ever had and she didn't even teach us everything we needed for the SOL, the teachers honestly were very mean all 3 years. Although I did enjoy some teachers that were nice, but honestly the administration took things way too out of hand. Somebody gave me the rest of their fries at lunch because they didn't want them so the administration instead of asking how I got them they just assumed I stole them from me so I got in school suspension for no reason and I asked if they could look at the security camera tapes but they said no because they had enough evidence to not need to check the tapes.

Nice new building but lacks strong teaching. Also food is sometimes greasy. Also copies Hungry Creek. Js.
