My sister and many of my friends went here and it is a great school. Lots of educational opportunities for those willing to study well.

Refuse to believe that no official disciplinary action has not been taken to the Principal and office staff.The principal allowed racial discrimination to continue in the school with substitute teachers and front office staff.If you or child are of any other race than the majority, I advise that you please be involved in the classroom and school as able.It needs to be said and heard that the school leader fails in inclusion for all students of all races/ethnicity.

The principal is dismissive of issues with teachers or curriculum. Not a friendly, encouraging environment for kids to learn. The principal is very rigid and not very caring toward the children.

The school is great if you are of the 56% Asians that require minimal instruction from the lackluster teaching. However, if your child has a disability or learns at a slower pace, I have found the school to be highly unsupportive. They seem to became accusatory towards your child and will make you go through multiple hoops so as much getting the superintendent’s office involved to get your child the proper help he/she needs. I recommend that the school develop a stronger PTA, fire lazy teachers who work for money rather than the love of teaching, and be more open to listening to parental concerns rather than waiting until the school district gets involved (ie stonewalling/ gaslighting parents).

*** Failure in Leadership lead by current principal *** Discrimination is overlooked and not properly addressed *** Many great teachers that stand for equality and show passion in children learning and support their social emotional well being too- few rotten apples- should be provided with training that enable them to teach equally to All students *** Lack of diversity specifically ( African Descent) *** Many current office workers tend to be condescending and rude to parents and students*** Please follow up with you children about how they are truly being treated at this school***Some additional support (resources) for children are very helpful *** Office staff and leadership doesn't communicate well with parents in actions that involve your student ahead of time.

I attended Rivers Edge Elementary a couple years back, and my experience was very positive. The school has A LOT of resources for every student and the teachers connect with their students in valuable ways. Performing well academically is strongly encouraged and the Gifted Program (which I participated in) was amazing. The one issue Rivers Edge has had over the years is an overflow of students. The student population has exceeded 800 which is too much for an elementary school. Something need to be done about that. Overall, this is one of the best elementary schools in the county and my feedback is positive!

We had one bullying incident and it was fixed the following day. This school teaches about it and enforce the rules which is wonderful. My son went to this school for three years and loved his teachers and classroom setting very much. Best yet, I never had a problem and saw their Pricipal and VP outside everyday to greet the students. The cross guard is also wonderful as she keeps the drop off and pick-ups running smoothly.

Principal and teachers are wonderful. Facilities are top notch. They work well with boys and girls. There was a minor problem with one teacher and administration was very responsive in correcting the problem. My son is in 2nd grade and I look forward to my daughter starting next year.

My granddaugter goes to this school....I think it is excellent. It is definitely 7 stars.
