My child’s volleyball team just played this team tonight. They played loud, obnoxious music during every time out and between sets. The student body booed when my daughter’s team was serving. They exhibited a complete and total lack of class. I’m recommending to the AD of my kid’s school that we never return to play this school unless we have to due to the awful treatment we received. There were no administrators visible to help rein in this behavior. In it two years of high school volleyball we’ve never played a school that disrespectful to a visiting school.

This school is wonderful! My son started here when he was entering 7th grade. He was going through a lot medically and they were absolutely great. This school is like a family. The teachers and staff truly care about the students. They welcome the parents to be involved and keep them up to date on everything. My son loved this school and everyone in it and so do we! The class sizes are perfect. They recognize that all students learn at different levels and accommodate them. The teachers and staff do everything they can to help the students succeed. They offer a lot of extra-curricular activities that you wouldn't expect from a charter school. I can't say enough great things about VCS!

Both of my children have attended this school from Kindergarten through 8th grade. It's a very close knit school and the teachers are fantastic. I couldn't have asked for anything more. The only thing they could do better is if they add grades 9-12. It's a rough transition for the kids to leave such a great place and enter public high school.

I love Vance Charter School because it is truly a learning environment where kids come to learn and have fun. Kids are challenged and given the chance to show what they are capable without a lot of disciplinary issues to distract them. The kids are pleasant and disciplined. The parents are kept in the loop, and the students know what their expectations are. The teachers really care and make learning a fun experience. Kids are being taught to give back to the community and what the benefits of giving back are. My kids love going to school now.

It's a great place to be! Children learn and are loved! Not only do children given strong foundations in math, reading and writing but they are taught how to be good citizens through the learning projects they participate in.

My daughter has received a great education from the day she entered Vance Charter School and she is now in the 5th grade. The teachers, environment, and class sizes are wonderful. Last, but not least my daughter loves attending school.

My son is in kindergarten and absolutely loves his teachers. He has excelled these past few months and is doing wonderfully. Vance Charter has wonderful teachers that really care about the students. Hopefully I will get my daughter enrolled for next year. I couldn't be happier with how well this school year has gone.

I have been a part of this school as a teacher and parent and can truly say it is the most wonderful place to be! We have such strong teachers, parents who volunteer constantly, and great students who work hard and who get the help they need at home as well as in school. We have been an honor school of excellence many of the 11 years we have been in operations, and we are SACS accredited. I love Vance Charter!!
