yes, i switched schools from ochoa to mlk and that was actually one of the worse choices ive made. At ochoa, i was happier and more socialable and the kids here arent rude at all. its also very safe, compared to mlk. During my 2nd week at mlk, a intruder got into a school even though mlk has very high gates. Everyone says that mlk is better then ochoa, but me myself I am asian. People here at ochoa were not racist to me at all and very kind. I made a lot of friends at ochoa before i switched. Me personally, i think ochoa is better. I miss ochoa very much :3

staff so disrespectful, I haven't seen a school teacher is talking like that with the kid's parent like this before, was trying to connect and talk with the principal but no call back

My daughter currently attends when my duaghter got bullied at school and she verbally defended herself she also got in trouble. A boy pulled her hair and she tried to push him away she was yelled at by the principal without him even asking her what happened there some people who work at the office who are rude theyvdiscuss students personal problems for anyone to here. At lunch my child sits outside the cafeteria on the floor because the cafeteria is full. And there lunch are not put on trays they have hold it in there hands so she has to sit and eat on a cold dirty floor. Overall not a good school

Great school community. Strict system but kids who behave are rewarded with fun activities . Teachers are great in general who really care about their students and to become successful liders. However, some staff people in the office are not that friendly and kind to visitors. They have some type of arrogance. In short, the teachers are absolutely awesome!

I attended this school the first year it opened. Now my son is in 8th grade there. I also reccomend any student that is entering Jr. High to go there. i feel that it is the safest, and best Jr HIgh school in Hayward Ca.
