Great PTA and parent involvement. Great DLI program. Good principal who stays engaged daily. Not happy with a 3rd grade teacher there but otherwise a wonderful school with many great learning activities and environment focused on child growth and support .

Great school , nice to have a home nearby. Teachers care about their quality of learning for the children.

I want several changes to be made to the policies and procedures at this school. I would also like additional resources for children that are on-track and gifted. I feel this subset of students are not given enough attention and resources

I had an excellent experience with school and staff. My kinder has advanced in all areas. Proud to be apart of Schafer Park school. Looking forward to next year.

I have 3 children attending Schafer park, the principal and teachers including the staff are amazing very hands on , I have a kindergarten an they make sure she is escorted to class from the bus, the principal has meetings an keeps the parents in the loop , the school is in a good neighbor hood has been remolded with brand new bldg. , I find the parking and drop off during school time a little rough but that can be all schools. overall I enjoy the education my children are getting an I enjoy the effort the school makes to make sure my child is learning an safe.

I have a child in first grade and beings From another country where teachers take very keen interest in students learning and being a teacher myself, it took me sometime to adapt to the system here. The school does try to involve parents in everything but it is mostly done at an inconvenient time so I feel they should send out newsletters to parents. The teaching and learning here is ok but parents are not kept updated on it like when exams are to be conducted it is not relayed to parents and students do tests without parents knowing it which I feel should change and be in their monthly calendar. School is ok but most things parents have to do..hoping for some improvement in terms of communication and teaching process.

This school is horrible and completely disorganized a 32+/1 teacher ratio. The teachers are always telling you they don't have time, when you try to talk to them and ask them questions. The teachers always seem to be extremely stressed out and that reflects on the behavior of the children. This is the worst school I have ever had to deal with. They have no programs for children with ADHD or other behavioral disabilities besides treating these kids like they are bad kids. No, they just have disabilities that reflect behaviorally. They violate 504 plans without telling the parents or making a new 504 plan. I recommend this school only to parents with children who act perfect at all times, and who do not act like children. If your child has any behavioral disabilities, I highly recommend you find somewhere else to take your child!
