I am attending Zela Davis actually. Zela davis has great stem programs and activities . The Dean and Principal help you with bullying and other programs. We have fun activities like Peer Pack,G.A.T.E program, cheereading team, and basketball team. Are school's grades have always in at least 3 to 4 years have been satisfaction.

I am very surprised Zela Davis has 4 stars. The school is over crowded which adds to the teachers work load/stress level. Poor 2nd graders don't have lunch until around 12pm. So they and I complain of being hungry by 11am. It's unacceptable, when you see a teacher complaining about a 4th greade student behavior in front of the student, staff, principal and other students.

Zela davis an amazing school..I love how the teahers and principle are involved with students and parents. keep up the good work!

Amazing school in a community that wants their children to be successful! The teachers and staff really care about the students. I can see how hard they work!

I USE TO REALLY LOVE ZELA DAVIS. i THOUGHT MY SON WAS DOING REALLY GREAT AND HIS GRADES WAS EXCELLENT. HE WAS ON THE TOP CLASSMATE LIST. UNTIL WE MOVED TO MORENO VALLEY AND MY SON WAS WAY BEHIND IN HIS CLASS. HIS READING WASN'T AT THE LEVEL IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE.

Zela Davis is a very good school. Both of my children have attended Zela Davis since kindergarten. The majority of the are GREAT educator and really care for the children. Zela Davis also give monthly workshops to keep parents involved with their child's curriculum. Last but not least Zela Davis scored highest on CST in the Hawthorne School District in 2009!!!!

I know and feel tha zela davis is very good school because my daughter has been going there since the 1st grade. I love the parent and teaher involvement that I have because it keeps me on top of daughter and what she is doing in school....i think that parent need care more about their children education and get involve with the teacher.
