My experience with this school is been very positive. I love their leadership under our new principal Mr. Patterson. I am an active volunteer parent and I can see that there is ample collaboration among teachers, staff, and other school personnel. As a parent I do feel welcomed to support in any capacity. Academic wise, under Mr Patterson there are several enrichment programs already in progress and more to come. Mr. Patterson's vision is that all of our students exceed their academics as well as be technological savvy. I am proud and grateful for BCMS.

I was a student at this school. They have great, nice, professional teachers. The staff members and counselors are great and nice too. PE in this school has fun activities. The lunch at this school is like any other and they have two options sometimes, to pick from. I've learned a lot from this school and had a great time, this is a well-taught school, and I would recommend it to your child based on what I have experienced.

I went to this school from 2015-2018 all three grades. This school has a room for a lot of improvement. If your child is not in the A.V.I.D program or PLTW, you should encourage them to do so. The kids not in these programs often do terribly, not because of the teachers, but because of the students. The student in those classes are very disruptive and will not let a teacher get through the lessons. I was in the PLTW program and I can tell you that the teachers for that program care for the students and because you need good grades to get in, the students are also very good. If your student isn't in those two programs, make sure they can understand what the teachers are teaching and go to tutoring if needed and if the teacher offers this. However this may have just been the students in the class of '22 because the newer students seem like good kids. This is a great school as long as you understand how your child is learning, how they're doing in school and ask them what the "gossip" is at school or rather what conflicts are happening.

i am an 8th grade honors student currently attending this school. i feel that there are a few select good teachers but there are a majority of teachers and staff that cannot seperate their personal views of the kids with their jobs. Also the school is run like a detention center and has gates all around. WE also have had a few drug incidences and unjust treatment of the races by the vice principal in certain fight cases. Academically our school is doing 'Ohkay' to say the least but academically we are EXTRAORDINARY WE HAVE THE BEST ATHLETES IN THE H.S.D school district. I leave you with this thought- i have no personal vendetta against BCMS its just i would only send my kids here is it were one of my secondary or 3rd choices
