This school has very high standards and the principal, Ms Lino, is straight forwards, great leader and the teachers are dedicated, professional and demanding. It requires parents to get involved and it is a blessing that our daughter attends the school. Our second child is on his way to become a student there as well. Family values, academic excellence and high expectations.

My son will graduate from MRS this year 2015. I have to say from the moment i walked in i was happy with the school, Staff and Administration. The communication is great and you can access everyone at any time. This is very important when it comes to your child's education. The school is always clean and welcoming. :)

I have been here long enough to agree that the school is still transition in a good way. Whatever issues the needed to work on it appears they listened to the constructive criticism and have moved with haste to reconstruct how the school is running. The new staff they hired are young and are computer literate. The bring a new energy to the school that my children and I like so far. Don't count them out as of yet they have made some drastic changes especially when it comes incorporating technology. They don't have laptops yet, but then again they are not a public sector. So far they have websites the children are to access at both school and home to help with reading and math.

Maria Regina School could improve their communications to teachers verses Principle and office staff. Very eager to get upset when discussion is in regards to extra fees, or additional charges.

Maria Regina Catholic School, is a small but, family orientated school. One thing that I do like about the school is that the teachers just don't know their own students but, they know all of the students in the school. It is true when they say it takes a village to raise a family. I believe that Maria Regina is becoming a bigger and better family. There are always room for improvement but, if I had to choice I would say I would like to see newer version of books in all of the classrooms.

I am a parent that has attended Maria Regina School fairly recently. I believe that as parents we are obligated to participate and help not only our children but those who interact with our children everyday. Every school has their transitional moments and through those moments it is our obligation to be as supportive as possible. It is very easy to criticize and complain, but it's much harder to dig your heels in and work to support to make things better. I am pleased with the leadership, teachers, the students and the supportive community that supports Maria Regina. We all have had situations where we try something and maybe it doesn't turn out the way we want, as the parent mentioned below about inexperienced teachers, but I do believe that the leadership, worked quickly to resolve and address those issues. At all times, the leadership has had the best interest of our children at heart. Just the mere fact that the teachers and the leadership have my child's best interest at heart, makes me feel secure and confident in the school my child attends. Keep up the awesome work Mrs. Lino!

When I realized our previous catholic school was failing my children, I set out on a quest to find the perfect fit for my family. I found that perfect fit with Maria Regina (MRS). I was looking for a school that maintained structure, had good classroom management, challenging curriculum, knowledgable & innovative administration & staff, & a caring environment. I can truly say I have found all of that & more. My children are working at & above grade level. The teachers sincerely care about the children & it shows. They are not seated at the back of the classroom regurgitating words from a text book. They are up, moving around, & interacting with their students to ensure learning is happening. They think outside the box to make learning fun. My children are excited to go to school each morning & are eager to tell about what they've learned each afternoon. I also love how the principal is visible and accessible. She has made my family feel like we are a part of the MRS family. MRS is bringing out the best in my children. I cannot ask them for more. My only regret is that I did not find MRS sooner. I would have loved to have had my children here since kindergarten.

I began my journey at MRS 7 years ago with my daughter entering 6th grade and my son entering 1st. I must say that it was the best decision made for my children. They have loved this school from day 1, and I am very satisfied! The academic preparedness that my children have received has surpassed my expectations, and the leadership has played the most important role in the success of this school. The principal at Maria Regina has been there since we started, and I am very grateful for the relationship that we have built. She is open and very understanding of each family's situation, and consistently focuses on the performance of her teachers and staff. The school is welcoming, the teachers well-educated and professional, and the leadership team is astounding. I applaud this school for their excellence, and as a public school teacher, I commend their great passion for educating my children.

This school is in a great community, but lacks leadership and teachers necessary to make it a school worthy of praise. The school advertises itself one way and shows itself a totally different way. It is not parent friendly it is money friendly. You will pay for everything and not up front as you may like but fundraisers up the whazoo. They go so far as to make it mandatory for the students to supply the teachers school supplies. The principal at this school is very condenscending in her behavior and voice, and that's to the parents. They will say they will be helpful and offer all these additional things like Spanish and tutoring but that is not true. If there will is no money in it for them then it is not happening. They have had very excellent teachers at the school in the past but they got rid of them or they left. The thing that bothers me the most about this school is that graduates do not attend what may be considered elite high schools the majority end up at the sister school of Serra or St. Mary's. Once in a while you may hear of a graduate attending Bishop Montgomery or St. John Bosco and that was usually for reasons other than academic.

MRS is a school in transition. Most of the older more experienced staff adhere to high academic standards and excellent classroom management. As they leave they are being replaced with low cost, inexperienced teachers. Teachers new to the profession can also bring innovative ideas but not in an environment where the principal operates like a dictator and is closed to new people, ideas and technology. Even the experienced teachers are discouraged and not allowed to function to their potential. Academic standards are decent and homework amounts are consistent and reasonable. Because of a poor use of limited resources the school is very weak in teaching technology and non-academic subjects. With better leadership the school could be so much more.

Today's society offers choice in everything including but not limited to education. As a parent of elementary children, I have researched many schools in the local area and have found a hidden treasure. Maria Regina Catholic School is the environment I have selected to foster my children's educational and spiritual growth. The school is very small and intimate, therefore providing more individualized care. Additionally, the tuition is very affordable. My children are known not only by their peers, but the teachers and administration as well. It is my job as a parent to prepare them for the adversities life will bring and I am pleased with the foundation Maria Regina is giving them.

As a parent at Maria Regina, I am extremely proud give my children a wonderful opportunity by sending them here. I am the type of parent that is very picky about schools. I love the way that the teachers & staff interact with the students as well as the parents. The door is always open whether it is the Principal or the teachers. Keep up the great work.

As an alumni of Maria Regina, I am extremely proud that I had the wonderful opportunity to send my children here. The quality of the Christian-Catholic education they received/are receiving is excellent! The principal is amazing in that she is dedicated to making sure each and every student who graduates from MRS is college-bound! The faculty and staff are dedicated to the task of helping to raise our children to be the future leaders of America! I am grateful to the foundation this school has helped my children establish for their futures, as they are ALL Top Honor students! MRS provides a safe, nurturing environment with a level of discipline that helps our children grow into strong, respectful young adults. I highly recommend MRS to any and all families who are considering a Catholic-Christian school, that is safe and affordable and fun! Thank you, MRS, for continuing to be a top-notch school!

Please pay attention to the staff carefully!!! The principal is the WORST...and so is the staff. They can care less about your child. They just want money. The kids pick on each other. And there's nothing done about it... The staff don't know how to address certain issues...just please observe prior to enrolling.. A money Pitt.

Carefully review this school before entering your chldren. Ask around first. They regularly take children with behavioral and learning disabilities sctrictly for the purpose of increasing their tuition income. . They are not equipped to deal with these types of matters and it only places further strain on the over crowded classrooms and the substandard teaching.
