Old Forge is amazing. We feel so lucky to be zoned for this school. The community is small and tight knit but welcoming. The teachers are so sweet and so involved, my kids LOVE going to school. There is little turn over because positions at OFE are highly sought after and it shows in the quality of the education.

I went to the school which means that I have a better point of view than any parent or guardian, this school is great, obviously some teachers are better than others but I learned so much in the six years I went there. I cried on my last day of elementary school because my experience at this school was great and I was not looking forward to leaving a place that I had gotten so comfortable and used to. The teachers may be a little bit strict but they definitely make sure that you leave everyday knowing something new. The school often has fun activities for kids and provides a safe and healthy environment for everyone. They give each kid equal treatment and makes sure to calmly resolve any issues. The only thing that I wish could’ve been better is the kids just minded their own business and didn’t try to make the school year harder anybody else. Overall old forge elementary school was a great part to my life I will never forget.

We have been extremely disappointed in Old Forge's ability to treat all students equally. Unfortunately, the most valuable lesson we've gained from attending their school is that you must be your child's own advocate.
