    We love Gunter Elementary School. It is a great school with wonderful teachers. The staff at GES really cares about their kids in the classroom and outside of the classroom.

    Gunter Elementary encorages students to be their very best. There are high expectations of the students but they always step up to the challenge. The teachers are top-notch and genuinely care about each student. Ms. Cohagan leads with structure, discipline and a lot of love and caring.

    Mrs. Cohagen has created an environment which encourages parents to work with the students and the teachers to work with the parents. It is common for the parents of 3rd graders to spend 2-3 hours of homework per night, reinforcing the days lessons. Consequently the campus is rated exemplary, as are all of the Gunter schools.
