According to my child, sometimes the teachers tell their students homosexuality is a sin and ramble about it. Including in “chapel.” And one time the principal said a racial slur in front of the entire school and later in the day begged the students not to tell anyone! I wanted to send my child to a nice school with christian values but I do not recommend. They also enforce their political beliefs on your children.

On a scale of 1-10, I would rate Skipstone an absolute 10+! For my children it has been a God send and they both have excelled not only as students, but in their personal lives as well.

I love the fact that my children were taught basic principles of the Bible and were able to participate in Chapel. However there were so many other issues with the school that it wasn't a great fit for our family.

Lets just say most people put on a show but behind closed doors its a different story. This school was suppose to be a Christian based school, that's why we enrolled my child there, but now they changed names to skipstone and everything is different. Even before it changed the system wasnt Christ like as it should of been, but now the Christ like kids are even worse. The school needed money I get it, but I think your character, Morales, and beliefs are way more than money can buy. Very disappointed in this school, letting kids great others so badly

Elementary school was better but middle school has not been good. The school has gotten away from their values and principles.

I have had three children at Skipstone over the years. The ability of this school, primarily in the early years, to reach and "get" kids is above and beyond anything that I have ever experienced in private education. It's a VERY laid back school, but don't let that fool you. Great and competitive sports teams, dedicated teachers, and a personable admin. I am really greatfull for this school!

My child attended this school for a couple of years in middle school. He was constantly bullied, which nothing was ever done about. The students were often unattended and played outside, a lot...even in middle school. When it came time for the ITBS tests at the end of the year, the school was unprepared. Although my son scored "average," his grade failed every section of the ITBS test for that year. We removed him from Skipstone, and placed him back in public school, and we was outstandingly behind in Math and English, and required lots of tutoring just to catch up. It has been a few years, and with lots of tutoring and hard work, he now has a 4.0 GPA and is slated to be his class valedictorian. This is contrary to what the head administrator of Skipstone told us, however, when we removed him from their school...her exact words were, "I just don't think he would ever be able to exceed anywhere else."

Absolutely a wonderful school with a Christian atmosphere. GODS presence is everywhere! The curriculum is spot on where public is and the kids learn in a creative way I love that extra classes like art, music, and PE are offered! Great sports programs also
