Great school. Wonderful staff. It was a great experience for my daughter at this school.

I'm not sure why parents are leaving high reviews on here. It almost seems like that was staged. Our experience was terrible at this school. My son transferred from a private school to this one. From the start the teachers in 4th grade were combative. The science teacher would publicly humiliate my child in front of the class by saying such things as "Class, should I get (my son) an English book because apparently he doesn't understand English?" I had his math teacher call me on the phone to try and put me in my place when I needed to discuss concerns with her (please understand I am not a confrontational person so this took me by surprise), and an administrative staff that didn't seem to care much about the situation. My son has straight A's 4 years in a row on a harder academic system than at this Futral Road Elementary. If you can I would stay far away from this school and most all spalding county schools in general. If you have to pick one in this county I suggest Crescent elem. It seems to be the better one. This "school of excellence" stuff........well I would like to see that actual scores on that one. Again it seems staged and was not our experience at all.
