this school has very few good teachers runs out of some of their lunches lets fights happen in bathrooms has 2 field trips all year and if your said they don't let you go home

The worst school ever. It was our first your at this school. The front office are very unwelcoming and the students are mean and cliquish. If you are new to this school, the teachers do nothing to make you feel comfortable. My son will not be back. Thank goodness we did not buy a house here. We have moved and would not recommend this school to anyone.

I am in the eighth grade and it is my first year attending Riverside Middle School. I have only been at RMS for a little more than a month and I am already spotting the flaws. The administrators care more about rules than the students. The dress code is also extremely unfair. Guys can wear shorts going up to their upper thighs but girls will immediately be dress-coded. The teachers care more about grades than actually teaching their subject. I'm not going to lie, there are a few teachers that are the exception, but most of them are unqualified. There are many positive reviews on this website, but they are almost all from adults that do not understand what it is like to spend upwards of 8 hours a day at this school. RMS is also very crowded and the buses are TERRIBLE. They pack the students in, 3 to a seat, and the behavior of the students are awful. It has been pretty hard finding a good group of kids to hang out with. Please, I want the administrators to fix all of these issues!!!

my school is wonderful but the buses is terrible the bus I ride is 221 theres too many kids on the bus and not enough room the kids on the bus physicly threaten you and they will cuss you the 6th graders get treated like garbage and some 7th and 8th graders get in trouble all the time so the bus driver will move you up front and then they bully the 6th graders in the front and take up all the seet so they cant set

We recently moved here from NJ and I'm pleased with the school. The teachers have a genuine concern for their students and respond in a timely matter to any concern that is voiced. My son loves the school and the teachers, has made friends and he is finally coming out of his shell. The curriculum is challenging but not overwhelming. I like the parent portal to check on grades at my discretion and there's also a student portal to involve the student in gauging his own progress. The communication between teachers and principles has been good. The only issue I had was with a bus stop incident. The principle was helpful in who I needed to get in touch with to resolve the issue and kept in touch to make sure it was resolved.

A fantastic choice of schooling! Wonderful teachers, high education standards, excellent student base, and friendly to all. Expected little but was wonderfully amazed!

We relocated to the area this school year. The school has been very good for my 8th grader. Academically the teachers are "tough" but not overly so. My son was used to a somewhat lax atmosphere and this year he is actually studying. My son has not had any problems making friends. District is well organized academically.

Terrible school. They all have liberal views and the first year principal will not address your concerns cause he is to busy and on his power trip ?
