My daughter is a boarding student at Stoneleigh and she has an amazing experience there so far. In the past, she was very reluctant to speak up or draw attention to herself in class, but during her first year at Stoneleigh she has really began to come out of her shell. She noticed this change herself, and commented to me recently that she is no longer afraid to speak up and share her thoughts in the classroom. I attribute this to Stoneleigh's small class sizes, but also and more importantly to teachers who provide so much support and - even better - the way the students encourage and cheer each other on when they take risks. It's a wonderful, nurturing environment!My daughter participates in the riding program and it is wonderful. Her riding skills have improved tremendously in just one year at Stoneleigh.

As a parent at SBS I love the community, the staff is so welcoming, and the curriculum is just challenging enough that is sparks motivation to learn in my child. She loves the environment, the social life, and her teachers! Can’t wait to spend the rest of her high school years in this community!

I rate my experience very highly as a parent. I have had excellent contact with teachers, advisors, and leadership and proud of the ways my child has grown and impressed with her learning. Normal challenges happen, and all have been appropriately responsive and caring.

With strong academics (97% International Baccalaureate diploma graduation), small classes with caring and experienced faculty, a meaningful advisor program, strong dance and competitive athletics, internationally-ranked public speaking and debate team, and a fantastic equestrian program (offers the British Horse Society certification( SBS lives its mission in everything it does.

This is a small yet diverse and supportive community where each girl has a chance to shine. Outstanding debate, dance and equestrian programs. Rigorous international baccalaureate program. Sally Mixsell, our head of school is a strong leader. Put simply, an excellent all girls education!
