This school is very unprofessional. It is in the top 10 for worst overall grades in the STATE and the teachers never provide a learning experience I'm comfortable and connected with. I got terrible scores from the MCAS and I have been trying a hard I can to understand everything, but they're not teaching us about it or supportive enough. I have always wished to go to a vocational school ever since I was three and now I can't because I have failed and now I'll throw off my whole life forever. Please, please send your child to an actual school if you want them to actually get a good social and academic life.

I just wanted to share my experience with the Greenfield Commonwealth Virtual School. My three children, who are in elementary, middle, and high school, have been attending this school for several months now and we couldn't be happier. They have a team of dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to ensure that every student gets the support they need to succeed. As a parent, it's really reassuring to know that my children are getting the help they need to thrive.Another thing that we love about this school is how safe we feel. With all the craziness in the world right now, it's really comforting to know that my children are learning and growing in the safety of our own homes. The teachers are always available to answer our questions and provide support whenever we need it. Overall, we highly recommend the Greenfield Commonwealth Virtual School to anyone looking for a safe, supportive, and high-quality education for their children.

Totally unprofessional staff and school administrators.I removed my child from there after she was targeted by counselor, with fake claims. We requested a full image of the claim, the counselor was caught typing fake statements to my daughter and claiming it her account. Never seen a school targeting their students or teachers acting unprofessional. Every time we reach out to the school, they never reply back and they just don’t care.

I've been in this school for over a year now, and it's had its pros and cons.Its pros include very good teacher involvement, daily updates on progress, field trips, and if I'm being brutally honest, it's VERY easy to cheat your way through assignments. Also, I like that I can do it anywhere with internet access.Now onto the cons, and oh boy, there's a lot to go over.The program the "school" uses (Edgenuity and sometimes Clever) to teach is outdated and very dull to use, but then again isn't school supposed to be like that?I feel like I haven't learned much in the year that I've been attending, and communicating with other students is almost nonexistent.The main source of communication we use is through e-mail and a website called InScribe which is pretty much the school equivalent of Facebook.In conclusion, this is an okay school with good teacher involvement but close to no way to interact with other students. And its methods/programs it uses to teach is below average.Parents, please don't take your children to this school if you want them to be social with other kids and have an actual education.

Had to remove my two middle schools daughters from there. Totally disrespectful and unprofessional middle school teachers. My daughter’s middle school teacher shut the camera off while my daughter and him were discussing an assignment. Later he said that he didn’t want her to see his reaction, basically he is angry.Forcing students to follow certain agenda, not related to education or the curriculum at all. Even the principal himself was totally non supportive and ignored my emails. If you want to protect your kids don’t send them to this school. Middle school teachers are not respectful to students and ignore parents when they email them.

This school is a very good school I recommended my children have been at the school for almost 7 years and my youngest for one year. In middle school, there are also lots of clubs to choose from including the JNC, Latin clubs, and the anime club. All the teachers there are very kind and very good at teaching and help make learning more fun. They also have monthly outings that students could go to and get together. They take bullying and plagiarism very seriously in school, especially in ELA. I also have extra academic help for students who are having trouble. There are a lot of students who have disabilities which makes my children fit in more. The classes and courses are very diverse. And this is why I recommend the school.

I have 2 children that have been enrolled with MAVA for the last 5 years. When they first started I didn't realize how much my children didn't know. They are learning a variety of different things versus the Brick and Mortar school teachings focus on the MCAS testing and tend to just teach what is on the test. I use to spend 3 hours a night on "homework". I spend a lot less time checking to make sure they are on course. I make the kids get up, get dressed and start school at 7:30a.m. They take it seriously. It is perfect for us.

Not at all what they advertise. Don't enroll your kids. I had emails and phone calls that were not returned by administration. My child was on IEP and didn't recieve the services in it. They also advertise every student gets an ILP (individualized learning plan) we never got one. When I emailed and questioned it I was told we would get one in a week or 2 over a month went by and still no ILP. There is nothing individualized about the program. My son who in middle school 6th grade got an 8th grade history course. I was told by the teacher it was do to having meet common core standards. Administration however told me it had to do Mass teacher frameworks. They tell parents we are learning coaches but your are in fact the teacher. There were also constant technical issues where the site would be down and we could not log into our courses or class connects. K12 is one big virtual lie. A total scam.

My daughter have been to 2 different school before this school and none of the teachers didn't know how to challenge her energy. I couldn't be any happier with Ms Miller. I feel truly bless that my daughter had her for 2nd grade teacher.

Truly an excellent education for the motivated family who has a unique situation with highly gifted, special needs, or children with careers or travel requirements.
