The administration and staff are fabulous! My child is thriving at this school and is challenged academically. Administration is super responsive to concerns when voiced. Very happy with our choice to take our child out of private Catholic school and move to NOMS.

The principal does not care about bullying, racism, or the student's safety. I had several accounts of students being racist, but the teachers did not even bother to care even when we reported the events. There were also accounts of fights, which the student had assaulted 3 teachers and they only got suspended for only 2 days and didn't even learn their lesson. There were also multiple accounts of vapes and drugs, which the teachers did not take care of any of them. The principal also emails very slowly when parents write her an email, and the food is also horrible, considering how there were many accounts of dead flies on fruits and the small amount of food they give us. The students are also very destructive and disruptive, and even though we cannot control their actions, the teachers do not even bother to punish them correctly.

Exceptional, exceeded our expectations of what a public school environment could be.

I have two students at North and I am just not impressed. The facilities are totally lacking...no athletic fields of their own, so they get the scraps from the high school. Vice Principal is awful and we are currently searching for a new head principal. School spirit is mediocre, but not terrible. Class cohesiveness is not strong and some teachers just really bad, especially science teachers. Which is a shame because it is such an important topic at this age. Overall, I can't give this school a good score. The school is lucky to have some great parents that try to make up for what is lacking, but even that is very club or sport specific, so it does not make big changes overall. It's a shame.

The kids are rude, the teachers don't care, and the bathrooms have tons of profanity. The kids just aren't safe and it's not diverse there, and the counselors forget about their students.

Great teachers! They have excellent extracurricular activities for the kids including several dances, school spirit events and wonderful talent shows. The percussion teacher was amazing! We moved away but will remember the great experiences we had there.
