Wonderful experience my son is having so much fun we even didn’t move before he finishes in the same school

We had three boys go to the school all developed well and gone on to college. There was no signs of bad behavior or bullying. We lived right by the school and never seen or heard of any great issues from those that have children in the school. Parents speak highly of the school. Teachers parent day is always a full house of interested community involvement. Wife aided in the school efforts as a Teachers Aid. Teachers interaction was always positive engagement with parents and children. The only thing I can think of that is poor is bad fund management as these schools in DuPage Cty. for the cost per student have gone above normal to the point of being greedy.

It is a wonderful school, every one in this school is very friendly and helpful. Teachers and principal are doing great job !

The new principal at this school, Mary Brandt, is WONDERFUL! I know this because she was the principal at Winnebago Elementary school for the 6 yeas my daughter attended school there. This will be Mrs. Brandt's first school year (2011-2012) at Blackhawk and everyone was sad to see her leave Winnebago. She is a wonderful, caring woman with great ideas and she'll do a great job at Blackhawk. The students and parents will benefit from having her as their principal!
