    This is the best school by far in Grant Parish. They make more with less each year. The superintendent is so concerned with funneling every penny she can to "her schools" that this school gets squat. Her schools Montgomery and Verda, a C and C school that are not improving but keep putting up new buildings....it isn't fixing a thing. Duh!

    This school has excellent teachers, a strong administration, and students that love coming to school each day to learn.

    The new principal must have had an impact on the academic program. 4th grade LEAP scores were way up. 88% at basic or above in ELA. 96% at basic or above in Math. 5th grade iLEAP scores were up also. 90% at basic or above in ELA. 86% in Math. The biggest drop was in 3rd grade. I doubt that teacher will be teaching that grade anymore.
