This school has some of the most amazing teachers and administrators. The students are very diverse, which helps kids learn acceptance and dealing with adversity. There is no better PTA in all of Kansas! One or two unhappy parents does not describe the quality of this school! They are usually unhappy because their children struggle and they don't support the team trying to help their child. Trail Ridge is an amazing place!

Chaos. No structure. Fists fights in 5th grade- recess is like a prison yard with kids roaming in packs terrorizing each other. Constant issues with physical and verbal bullying across the school. Complete lack of leadership, so teachers are under supported and overwhelmed. At least 20 kids per classroom. The children spend all day learning so they can score well on state math assessments- basics like reading, spelling, and writing are non-existent. These kids are missing out on a solid education. This school- and district as a whole- should be avoided. It’s not what it used to be.
