Go somewhere else if you have any kinds of special needs for your kid. They don't care.

GEHS has excellent teachers, para's, counselors, staff and administration that truly care for the students and their daily success in and out of the classroom. My daughter is a junior and she loves going to GEHS. The school offers so many opportunities with academics, clubs and sports.

At 1st we were excited to move to Gardner. We heard so many "good" things about GEHS. Wellits time for the real deal... As far as teachers you have good and bad of course. Overall not too bad. But as far as athletics. WOW!!!! What a shocker. Never have I seen so much belittling of young men from head coaches on the football field. Personal vendettas. Band is interesting. Better than many schools in the area. Bottom line. If your son is really into football FIND another school. If I could go back in time knowing what I know now I NEVER would have put my son through this garbage they call a "team" in GEHS. If it were not for the talents of the young men on the field there is no way they could ever win. Coaches seriously need people skills. Oh yeah. Don't complain to the coaches. Your son may never see the field again.

My 3 children attended GEHS. Excellent teachers, counselors, and administrators. School prepared them for college!
