My grandson was enrolled yesterday and everyone seemed so nice and seemed like they really care for him and his education. I came from a 10/10 school in Nashville and was worried about the ranking being a 6/10 but my worries were put to rest when he came home happy and was up ready for the bus this morning at 6:30 when he is used to being on the bus at 7:45 with struggles! I think he is going to have a wonderful school life at Guild!! Go Gators.

My family LOVES Guild Elementary!!! I can not say enough about the teachers, principal, and staff. They truly care about each childs education, safety and well-being. By the way, we choose to send our children to Guild. We are out of zone. I feel that says a lot about this wonderful school!!!!

They do everything they can to make sure you child is successful in everything they do! Every teacher is hands on and the principal knows each child by his/her name. I went to this school as well as my mother and uncle. I would recommend Guild to everyone we love being a Guild Gator!!!!!

I have two daughters in Guild. My oldest has been in school here since Pre-K and she is now in third. I also have another daughter that is in the second grade. They have had the best teachers a parent could ask for. The staff and Mr. Taylor as well as Mrs. Fuqua is the best. I go to Guild out of zone because of these reasons.

My children both attend Guild Elementary and I couldn't be happier with the staff there. The principal not only knows each and every student he knows the family as well. The staff is very friendly and bend over backwards to help each child reach their full potential. They really do care about their students at Guild and I would and have recommended this school to other parents.

Guild School has highly qualified teachers who care about all the students and are dedicated to making sure they get a quality education. My grandchildren have had outstanding teachers who go the extra mile to make sure my grandchildren get what they need to make them lifelong learners.

Our first experience with Guild Elementary & its faculty, staff, principal, & students was one that made a life-long, lasting impression. Being a diversified family from a small town with high educational expectations, we were "WOW'd" by the unconditional & unceasing commitment the wonderful faculty & staff at Guild have for their children. We know each and every day that our boys are loved, respected, protected, engaged, excited, & very well educated by some of THE MOST dedicated professionals in the business of education! We couldn't have asked for a better school for our sons & our family of which to become a part. Mr. Taylor is the cornerstone of leadership & sets an example after which ALL principals should follow. We will always be indebted to each & every person at Guild for giving our children & our family a wonderful educational "home"!!!

If I could refer parents to any elementary school in Sumner County, it would be Guild Elementary! It is an outstanding school! I believe that if the "head" is leading and doing what is needed, the rest will follow. Mr. Taylor is a great leader/administrator and it shows in all of his work and effort. The faculty and staff of Guild follow his lead and they all show such love and compassion for the children. It is wonderful to see that they take interest in ALL of their students and believe in every one of them. My son is now in the 5th grade and has been a part of the Guild family since pre-school. He has enjoyed his time there and I am happy that he experienced his elementary years at Guild. I am proud to say that my son is a Guild Gator and I am the parent of one!!!

Guild Elementary is by far one of the most exceptional schools in middle Tennessee. My daughters and sons have absolutely loved their experiences at Guild. As parents we have been more than proud to let others in our community know just how special the atmosphere at Guild is. In my opinion, the primary origin for Guild's exceptional environment begins with Mr. Taylor. He genuinely cares for his students. I've watched him for years call them all by name. Mr. Taylor is also surrounded by an exceptional office staff and obviously his teachers. Over the last 10 years we've experienced many of the amazing, talented and caring teachers that Guild has to offer. Mr. Taylor and Guild have been a blessing to our family. We will truly miss his leadership and the environment he has cultivated when are our children advance from elementary school. Mr. Taylor - thank you for your sacrifice and for your integrity in which you lead with. Your values and strength in character are contagious.

My daughter just started kindergarten this year at Guild and so far it has been a great experience. Her teacher is wonderful and the principal seems very dedicated to meeting the needs of the children. I feel very informed and part of the school.

My daughter has attended Guild for the past four years and we are truly going to miss this school when we leave. Mr. Taylor is one of the best prinicipals I know. He not only cares about his staff but he cares about 'his' children. Our family loves Guild Elementary and all it's staff.

Guild Elementary is a wonderful school. My son is currently in first grade there and I am very happy with the school and the staff. I have never seen such a caring man as Mr. Taylor, you can tell that he truly loves what he does and he loves each child in that school. Both he, Mrs. Fuqua (the vice principal) and the teaching staff are always available for questions and suggestions. They are very proactive to send emails so that we are always aware of any and all events happening at the school and encourage the parents to volunteer and participate in the school activities. I am extremely pleased about my son's education there, I do believe it is top noch and the best in this county.

Guild Elementary is the best!!! I currently have a 5th grader in Guild, who is a life tme Guild Gator (has been there beginning with kindergarden). I have 2 other children who graduated from Guild. Mr. Taylor is the most caring and respectable person I have ever met. His caring and leadership carries over to his teachers and staff. Mr. Taylor knows each of his over 600 students by name and knows who there families are as well. He and his staff know when birthday's occur (and even announce them in the morning), when a child needs special attention, and when a child does something special. My children have all loved Guild, the teachers and Mr. Taylor and I am so thankful that the Mr. Taylor and his staff have been there for me and the children.

Guild Elementary is the best elementary school in Sumner County by far! We moved here from out of state and Mr. Taylor accepted both of my children due to my research of all of the schools. My children's needs were met, not only academically, but socially, emotionally, and physically as well. They taught "the whole child" not just "the test"!! The school is so great that we have been commuting 40 minutes each day for 4 years and there is an elementary school 3 miles from our house. We tried the school the is close to our house, but they caused our children stress beyond belief. Mr. Taylor greets each child by name in the mornings, he knows when their birthdays are, and he notices if they are sick or have been absent. He makes each child want to be present for school and if they are present, then they are learning. We are so glad we chose to leave our children at Guild, and the extra traveling time is worth every minute when your children are happy to be learning.

Does your child's school have 600+ students who are in attendance? Does the principal know EVERY SINGLE child in the building by name? The principal at Guild does. I'll leave it at that!!! As far as test scores, I'd put my kids toe to toe with any student from any other school, public OR private. Oh, I already did! My son went to private school in 6th grade and held his own just fine up against other kids who had always been in private school. You can NOT beat Guild for a K-6 Educatonal experience!! I'm not only a parent, but an educator as well (not at Guild).

We love Guild Elementary. We have 2 boys in school there, one is in 2nd grade & the other is in 4th. Guild's principal is the best. He has such a big caring heart. He loves the children, teachers & staff. This is evident by his active participation in the daily school activities. The teachers are great, too. They truly care about their students' education & not only the education but their overall well being. We are very proud to have such a great school in our county.

Guild has been wonderful for my kids. We moved here last year, and sadly, are moving again. Though the commute to downtown work was long, we moved to Gallatin because of Guild. Mr. Taylor has fought hard for the school with the District's recent budget battles with the county government. Everyone I have dealt with has been very helpful and genuinely seems to care about my children. We are going to miss Guild! **Just a footnote, and not a reflection on the school. The Sumner county government continually underfunds the school district and each year results in a major budget battle. County residents just failed to pass a wheel tax that would have added additional funding to the schools. At this point, it has not significantly impacted the schools but it is only a matter of time.

Our oldest daughter attended Guild from K-5th grade. As a middle school student now, she has commented about her teachers at Guild as being her favorites. She mentions things that she learned at Guild being helpful now, as she tackles middle school. She want to thank Ms. Corbin, Mrs. Morrison, Mrs. Coles, Mrs. McDuffee, Mrs. Rollins, and Mrs. Balturshot as being awesome and teaching her so well that she is a successful, confident middle school student. Our other 2 daughters enjoy going to school. They get up ready and excited to start their day. They love their teachers, Mrs. Goodwin and Mrs. Fussell. They come home to play school and recap what they have learned at school this year. It is a joy to listen to them 'act' like their teachers. They obviously feel loved and are encouraged to do their best at school. It is comforting to know that our children are loved and encouraged at school. Thank you to all the teachers at Guild for showing children that you love them every day!! Thank you Mr. Taylor and Mrs. Fuqua for being administrators that we feel confident that you are encouraging your teachers to give their all and love our children. You have an amazing staff at Guild!!

I have had three children attend Guild, one of whom still goes to the school. My children excelled at Guild, earning a 6 on the TCAP Writing Assessment as 5th graders. They had teachers who were excellent instructors and wonderfully caring people. My children learned so many valuable lessons, many of which came from their exposure to children who were different from them, lessons and appreciation for others that may have not learned in other schools. Their teachers do SO much for their students and with their students...they have tough jobs, taking their children from where they get them as Kindergarteners to such academic success as 5th graders that they are truly prepared for Rucker, Shafer, Station Camp, and other middle schools. Guild teachers are the epitome of excellence. It takes a truly special and caring person and excellent classroom educator to teach at Guild. Guild ROCKS!
