The teachers and staff genuinely care for all of the students. Small school = personal attention. It's like family. Love Gaines!

I love Gaines Elementary!! My kids will both tell you it's like a home away from home. Great teachers who genuinely care about their students. When my oldest started middle school I was asked where he went to elementary, when I said Gaines the teacher said " I Knew it, Gaines kids are always well mannered and polite.

I love this school! All the teachers and staff there are awsome and make you feel welcome! I wouldn't send my children any where other than Gaines!!

Despite struggles in the district because of its Superintendent (who is now leaving!) - Gaines Elementary has not only remained positive about its outlook, but students have flourished. Nominated last year as a Blue Ribbon School - the teachers, students, parents, families and community work together to ensure these students receive everything they need to exceed expectations!

I have three children who have attended Gaines Elementary. We love this school! Starting the minute you walk through the front door, the office staff are friendly and helpful and very on top of things. The teachers really look out for your children as well, above and beyond academically (although they're top-notch there, as well!). It seems like everyone knows my kids names, from the teachers, principal, playground aids, cafeteria, even the custodians. The PTO sponsors several activities and encourage all parents to be involved. It's a great place to learn and have fun at the same time. I look forward to sending my fourth child there next year as well. (and then we're done!) =)

I have a son and a daughter that attend Gaines Elementary School and we LOVE it! The principal, teachers and staff are very caring and involved with the children! We moved into the area specifically so our children could attend Swartz Creek Schools and we couldn't have picked a better Elementary School :)
