Hi, long time parent at Rolling Hills. I couldn't say enough about this school how much support and care was provided for my child. I appreciate you all. The teachers are caring and open to parent input the principle is always available and involved. I love the extra curriculum that is provided here. Theater Performing Arts was such an amazing experience for my kids and having band. The parent involvement is amazing. My kids have never experienced any type of bullying.

Negative overall. I wanted to transfer my son to a new school but I was give reassurances that he would get the support he needs and me and his father are just holding out to get a new teacher next year...there are only a few weeks left so we are hoping for the best.

our daughter spent 2 years here. She is in multiage class. In those 2 years, a principle was gone her her teacher was gone during 1st semester, because parents are so mean and involve too much. The school work are so easy and really unmotivated.

Over the past half dozen years I've seen a noticeable decline in all the ways that used to make Rolling Hills such a great place for students to learn and grow. The multi-age classrooms - which so many families on transfers seek out - seem to be pitted at odds with the traditional, one-grade level classrooms. It's a very "us versus them" mentality from both sides. There are lots of active parent volunteers on campus; usually this is a good thing for students, but there seems to be an increasing lynch mob phenomenon. Gossip spreads like wildfire, angry parents mention lawyers and lawsuits, and then poof!, a principal is gone or a teacher has resigned. I used to be very proud that my child attended Rolling Hills and would highly recommend the school, but not any more. At this point, I feel incredibly bad for the teachers that are stuck between school district officials who only care about how great their technology implementation looks and these domineering parents who feel they run the school.

Rolling Hills has by far some of the best teachers around! I was truly shocked to see they only rate 7. We transfer IN to Rolling Hills because of the fabulous programs. One of the few schools around that still thinks music, art, PE, and a library are an important in kids education.

My child is currently attending Rolling Hills and is in the k-3 ACE program. The teachers in this classroom are wonderful, patient and really encourage the children to be independent learners and problem solvers. My student is currently in kindergarten and has learned so much this year. I wasn't sure which program to enroll my child but I am so happy especially after touring many other schools and programs. This class always welcomes volunteers, whenever it is convenient even for just an hour. I love that I can come in and see what the kids are doing and take an active role in their class! This class is a great balance of arts and creativity and the work my child comes home with on a weekly basis reflects that there is constant learning going on. They do lots of science experiments and observation and reflection, buddy reading, and rotating units that my child especially loves for learning all the new facts! I love the thirst for more knowledge that comes home weekly and I can continue with. I high recommend this class! The school also welcomes transfer students.

I have had the great experience in having my children attend this school. This school has some uniqueness to it as it has the multi-age programs to fit different needs. This school has some of the best teachers I have had the opportunity to meet and work with. The teachers at this school care a great deal about the kids they have in their classrooms and it always feels like family on the campus which is so rare. We had a short term of dysfunction with a principal who didn't fit the RHE schools goals but sith the passion of the parents and the community she left. This school not only has the passion of its faculty but the community who continues to have the school at its best!

I have had all four of my children attend this school, they range from extremely autisic to extremely social with no disabilities. With the exception of one teacher that was a bad fit for my daughter and the multi-age classrooms; the rest is top notch. They have not just great programs for pre-schooo for autisic children, they have arts, garden, music, and other programs that are hard to come by. I love this school!

Yes great school if your child has no learning disabilities, then yes I'd rate this school as great, as long as your child can basically teach themselves. And Isn't a challenge for any of the teachers, then yes this school is great . My child is in the 6th grade and cant read above kindergarten level. They keep passing her on to next grade unprepared for what's to come. Im gonna send her out of state maybe less crowded class rooms and caring teachers she'll finally learn to read,
