I like how AP classes are year long still......

The teachers here don't care about their students at all. They don't care about homework rates. My daughter comes home with pages upon pages a day. It normally takes hours to complete it all. Plus, the administration doesn't care about anything. Bullying doesn't matter to them. They rarely suspended or punish anyone. Be wary putting your students in here.

What a shame that people who have had a bad personal experience (bullying, cant make friends etc) want to blame the school --- the entire school faculty and principal for these problems! My son is getting ready to graduate from this school and went all four years here. He is in the top 5 in the entire senior class.... he loves his teachers and has a wonderful experience. He made friends and has gotten into one of the top colleges in the country. So he obviously learned a lot at Skyline. So I am sorry for those few that have had bad experiences, but you cant blame the whole school for it. Academically this is a superior school.....

Well , i for one know that many many many phone calls have been made by myself to this school about bullying. And yet the worst has happened at this date. For lack of further embarrassment of my son i will not list it here as we are pursuing a legal standpoint. Also know that i have been in meetings, phone calls, guidance, sons physican, teachers and principal as well as others have been aware. I also have had teachers belittle my son. For you below who have had such a great experience i am happy for you. But please don't excuse it away with "whom" they should talk to. You need to know that bullying is HERE and active. My son lives it daily so please don't tell me how great Skyline is....

I'm a student in 9th grade here & I hate it! Most of the teachers consider worksheets of the internet learning and class periods are an 1 hour & 30 minutes long in which it takes about 30 minutes to start class then let us goof off for the last 20. My gym teachers will harass me & then go laugh at me with their fellow gym teachers just because I don't do sports and am not that great at them. The administration doesn't take bullying seriously and doesn't really enforce the rules for lateness, skipping, fighting, etc... Most of my peers have C's or lower. The students in all grades frequently make fun of me and disclude me because I am not from this area, I haven't found friends in the 4 years I have been here. At the moment I am sitting alone in lunch because the cliques here are so strong. After most teachers have you they don't act like they know you at all and my geometry teacher still doesn't even know half the students in my class even though she has had us for more than 4 months! The administration doesn't even know I exist even though I get all A's since I don't do sports and everyone favors the outgoing sports people. So it's a terrible school and I can't wait to get out!
